Bikinis Prevail Over Insects In This Earth Defense Force: Insect Armageddon 2011 Calendar

You might remember the holiday card D3 Publisher sent us a while ago. Following that, D3 also sent a little something our way to remind us about Earth Defense Force: Insect Armageddon, due out in 2011 for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

 

Insect Armageddon is being developed by Eat Lead: The Return of Matt Hazard developer, Vicious Cycle, not Sandlot. You can read more about it here.

 

And is there any better way to remind you of something than to associate it with a squad of scantily-clad buxom beauties?

    lol I just refreshed the site and saw the thumbnail and did a double-take
    Haha this actually reminds me of the cheeky (.. pun intended!) advertising back in the heyday of gaming magazines. I remem back then the ads in mags or on TV were actually fun or provocative/edgy or humorous (not just the overtly sexual ones either ;P) Man the target demos have really changed, now it’s all grandparents playing Wii and stuff, and they look like they were filmed on the same set as a febreeze commercial or something

      I’d buy a calendar if there were horribly cliche motivational pictures, ridiculous weapons and explosions and swarms of bugs.

      But then it’d be missing the campy voice acting.

    Oh dear…Now that has me slightly worried.

    As for this Calender…It’s just screams “average” and “trying too hard”. I’m all for skimpy girls bearing all manner of weapons but this just feels flat and missing that spark.
