Lots Of Camera Angles In Pokémon Black & White’s Debut English Trailer

Alongside their release date announcement for Pokémon Black & White, Nintendo of America also released a short but dynamic-looking trailer for the game, heavy on the game’s different camera angles.

Due for release on March 6th, Pokémon Black & White sounds like it might release around the same time as the 3DS. If someone decides to pick it up alongside a 3DS or plays it on a Nintendo DSi, they’ll find enhanced features in the form of a video chat, using the systems’ cameras.

We’ll be kicking off some Pokémon Black & White coverage of our own in the weeks to come, so stay tuned!

ill be picking this up, probably.

Introducing…a game that had outdated graphics even if it was released 15 years ago.

    • Exkaiser

I’m pretty certain graphics from 15 years ago looked a bit like this:

    • thebanditking

Nothing new there Nintendo has been be hind in graphics for the better part of a decade now, and always are from a hand held perspective. Its what keeps their devices low cost and the battery life high. I personally think this is an improvement for the series as the Gold and Silver remakes were (for me) the pinnacle of the isometric look.

  • Awesome game, crappy Pokemon.

  • I’m sooooo buying one of these games, to play on my new red DSi XL. =)

  • I can not wait until the 3DS Pokemon are made. I hope they make my wildest fantasies come true (fully illustrated backgrounds in battles, battle announcer, pokemon able to move in locations for extra level of tactics, real time battle system, fully realized 3D world with great looking textures, full voice acting)

I saw Black’s sprite, I wish they had shown N’s in the video! ^_^ that cube is such an awesome accessory.

Minccino looked so cool in that triple battle.

    • … So you want Little Pokemon Tactics Coliseum Revolution?

  • NeoTechni

Youd think by now the battles would be in 3d ala pokemon stadium….

  • thebanditking

I will be skipping this pkmn release, not that I don’t like the series anymore but I know they will release a Grey or Negative version 6 months later, likely with 3DS features.

  • Joanna

Guess it’s just me, but there is something charming in sprites. So I don’t mind if we have a few more games that are sprite based since it will inevitably go polygon eventually due to the constant increase in power with each generation of handhelds.

And as always, I shall be picking this up. I haven’t gotten bored of pokemon yet.
