Solatorobo: Red The Hunter Screens Take Us Pirate Hunting

What’s up Chocolat? Well, we have a bunch of screenshots from Solatorobo: Red the Hunter from Nintendo of Europe. This first group shows Red, the titular dog-human hybrid hero, running into a Shade. Chocolat who appears in dialogue bubbles is Red’s younger sister.

This batch shows Red (in the background) walking around Pickaxe street.

Finally, we have a look at the quest system where Red takes on a pirate hunting quest. Gamers in Europe will be able to complete this mission on July 1 when Nintendo releases Solatorobo: Red the Hunter for the Nintendo DS.

Character design and facial expressions straight out of the late 80s/early 90s. I kind of want this game.

  The designs give me a Breath of Fire feel personally. Maybe it’s because of all the demi-humans or something. But yeah just the design and feel really makes me want this too. I’m looking forward to it. =]

I hope D3 Publisher would get to localize this game to the US, since Namco Bandai is focusing on Gundam and Tales, surprisingly enough.

also: speaking of Zero_Destiny’s breath of fire, I really miss the anthropomorphic game characters…Breath of Fire had some awesome character designs.

Ive always been interested in this game, specially because it comes from CC2, the only problem is that i dont know if will like characters that much, them being animals D:

    yeah, it’s weird, i played ratchet&clank, and the gameplay reminded me of Jack and Daxter, but i still couldnt like the game that much, i didnt liked the characters… That’s another reason why i feel Jack and Daxter’s games are better. As for Okami, i loved the game and gameplay, but i still didnt liked to be a dog xD. Anyway, im gonna give this a shot.
    
    Oh but Sonic is different, but is more like, i admire his way to do everything more than anything xD and he is really human-ish… Maybe here will be the same?

      I think I remember reading an older article that the main character can transform into a human? Not sure how that goes, but hope its pulled off well.
      
      I’m a sucker for dogs, so Okami I got into well. But for Sly and Sonic characters, I guess I do kind of see them as human-ish. Like a werewolf type of thing if that makes any sense. Extra fur and stuff of animals I like are a plus!
