Square Enix CEO Yoichi Wada’s Xbox 360 Crashed (T-T)

By Spencer . May 5, 2011 . 9:38am

ringofdeath On Twitter, Yoichi Wada, CEO of Square Enix, said he wanted to check out and play some games on his Xbox 360. Unfortunately for Wada-san his Xbox 360 crashed, (T-T) he tweeted. Wada-san says he thinks he will drop all of the new games he started.

We hope Nier isn’t on that list. Wada-san said earlier in the week he was considering a second play through.

Another interesting tidbit is the CEO of Square Enix is keen on Infinity Blade. Wada-san said he played until he got his character to level 12.

  • That suxx0rz, I hated when it crashed on me during Tales of Vesperia, forever unfinished.

  • Someone tell him about the towel trick

Do have to wonder if this is him saying the honeymoon is over with him and MS.

Still can’t believe how he was literally begging and making apology for not being able to put FFXIV on the 360 when by all counts its MS policies keeping the game off. Nevermind what state it is on the PC.

  • [The Hunter] Doomrider

Well, it looks like Versus stays exclusive.

  • Jirin

    Now he feels our pain.

  • I don’t mean to sound rude or anything but it is such a big deal? I mean I go on a lot of tech/gaming site and I been seeing ridiculous article like Obama spotted with an iPad or such. I know people are going to say “if you don’t like it then don’t read it” kind of thing but I’m just curious.

Anyway I’m surprise on how other people xbox 360 is crashing on them, I had my xbox 360 since launch (Xbox 360 Arcade) and it’s still alive and kicking.

    • Nah it isn’t but people like gossip, even if it’s just a passing interest (much like hollywood celebrity gossip).. and they’re always nice reminders that even big name CEOs are also just as human as we are. Although maybe they’re just more rich and well known than us average joes.

That’s what he gets for “thinking” if he should give Nier a 2nd go lol.. well, I’m sure he’d be able to get a Slim replacement free of charge..

But yea.. I have 3 360s so far and they’re all alive and kicking, I guess I just take very good care of them.. my very first Jpn one (non HDMI) did get RRoD after 3 yrs, but that was due to my own fault of taking out the HDD while the system was still on, luckily it was still under warranty and they were nice enough to give me another new Jpn 360, so no complaints..

    that sucks :

hope he has the saves backed up if not your screwed

  • malek86

Don’t jinx it, Wada. My box has been going strong since being repaired in 2007. I know it’s eventually gonna die, but I’m hoping it will be after I’m done with Child of Eden.

  • just like doomrider said Versus will stay exclusive indee and will see if XIII-2 maybe be exclusive also.

    • [The Hunter] Doomrider

      I was kidding xD

    • ….

    • HarryHodd

XIII-2 to make up for The Last Remnant confirmed.

      • AnimusVox

I actually kinda like The Last Remnant.

  • Guest

I wonder what his reaction was when he went back to the PS3 and tried to go online

    • Subsenix

      Better playing offline than nothing

He should throw all the Crap60s out because they only would burn down Japan.

  • HarryHodd

    Cues Simpsons laugh……

  • hush404

    Dude… can’t afford another?

  • thank God I don’t have the XBOX-360
