A Charming Addition To Atelier Meruru’s Premium Box

By Spencer . May 9, 2011 . 8:11am

Gust has one more gift for fans that pick up the Atelier Meruru: The Alchemist of Arland 3 premium box.  The limited edition package also includes a Meruru charm.

A crystal paperweight and a copy of Atelier Meruru are also in the 10,290 yen ($127) premium box.

If you pre-order the game you receive a character drama CD as a bonus.

Atelier Meruru comes out on June 23 in North America Japan. Three months after its release, sometime in September, Gemaga will publish an Atelier Meruru Perfect Works art book in Japan.

This post was updated since it previously said Atelier Meruru included a soundtrack CD, it was a drama CD and that item is given out as a pre-order bonus for regular and premium box copies in Japan. Thanks Saki!

If NISA releases a premium box like this for the North American release of Meruru, I will buy at least two.
    Take note, NISA.

    • i doubt it though, Disgaea 4 which is their 1st party product didn’t get the nendoroid fuuka

      • Soma

But it does get the Fuuka figurine and the figure set. =3

        • xXDGFXx

I would trade all those figures for an unopened fuuka nendoroid.

      • Zero_Destiny

I think you’re forgetting Atelier Annie Were NISA gave us TWO Nendoroids. :P

That’s a great box set! How could you not want to buy that! I kno I do~♪

“Atelier Meruru comes out on June 23 in North America.”

I got excited for a second, but I’m assuming that’s suppose to be Japan.

“Atelier Totori comes out on June 23 in North America.”

I hope this is the right one :)

      • No, no it’s Japan. This was written way too late at night.

  • malek86

Were limited editions this packed and expensive (and widespread), years ago?

    • I’d say no (in general), but Gust has been releasing limited editions with packed with extras quite some time now, even their Gameboy games came with figures.

    • Ladius

Yeah, they were, and Gust has been providing limited editions till the start of the PS2 generation (Iris 1-2 and Mana Khemia 1 being the most exciting, imho). If you go back to the PS1-Saturn days you will find a lot of special boxes, limited editions and so on, even if the extras often were underwhelming (as they are now), and even in the Super Famicom days you could find a release like Fire Emblem Thracia 776’s limited box.

  • Uhhh, we’ll get Totori before Meruru (NISA announcement this Friday most likely)

    • OneOkami

Where you’d hear that? (I’m not doubting you, just curious on how they’ve hinted at it)

      • @OneOkami:disqus NISA’s press event is on friday, they usually announce new games at it, Totori’s pretty expected at it.

  • Uhm actually the only ‘CD’ that comes with it,is a pre-order bonus which is a drama CD .

  • *Squee* Art book!!

  • Ladius

This is kinda bittersweet, since the premium package has been out of stock on both Playasia and Amazon Japan for quite some time : I hope they are able to reopen their preorders.

  • Such an awesome charm!xO Dang it Gust, stop taking my money! *looks at my Rorona and Qoga cases*…… On second thought its alright. Now NISA, lets get that Totori release date going :D

  • PrinceHeir

    but i don’t have the money T___T

  • puchinri

If it comes out here, I hope we get the drama CD too.

  • shy_mel

If Meruru comes over here, I’d like it if NISA can have the charm as a pre-order bonus or something.

  • CleruTesh

I sure hope Totori and Meruru make it to the US. There is so much JRPG hate these days. I was already used to JRPGs getting low scores, but I don’t think Game Informer or Playstation Official Magazine even bothered to review Atelier Rorona. I wish there were a Siliconera magazine. It seems as if Siliconera is the only way to learn that good games still exist.

    • Ladius

The situation isn’t as bleak as you say, but I would totally dig a Siliconera magazine XD
