Four Minutes Of Chain Swinging Action In A Pandora’s Tower Trailer

By Spencer . May 11, 2011 . 6:37am

Nintendo shared a new trailer for Pandora’s Tower: Until I Return to Your Side via the Nintendo Channel. After recapping the sullen story of Ceres’ curse with a haunting melody in the background, the video gets straight into gameplay.

The Oreichalkos Chain lets Ende rip monsters apart, so he can feed Ceres meat. Plus it’s a climbing tool… and used to pull switches when lava gets in the way. I’ll stop now before this sounds like a late night infomercial.

Later, Ende draws his three upgradable weapons: a powerful great sword, swift dual daggers, and long scythe. Pandora’s Tower: Until I Return to Your Side is always a race against the clock. If the curse meter runs out before you can return to Ceres with a monster meat meal the game ends.

Pandora’s Tower: Until I Return to Your Side begins on May 26 when Nintendo releases it on Wii in Japan.

  • How I would love to see this get a western release. I think it looks fantastic.

  • IceRomancer

The puzzles look pretty fun, and the battle system looks great! I just hope the timer isn’t too much if a burden.

  • Tired of not having a Oreichalkos Chain? Well, why spend more time not having a Oreichalkos Chain when you could have an Oreichalkos Chain!

But wait! There’s more! After you upgrade your sword, swift dual daggers and long scythe, you get EVEN MORE of the Oreichalkos Chain! Wow! What a bargain!

Don’t see anything really wrong with that

Nintendo is supposed to mean INNOVATION, CREATIVITY.and theres nothing of that in this game

I’m just gonna wait till I PLAY the game myself before I prejudge anything.
I suggest you do the same..

Which bring up the question of why you even care if the game has a static camera. >.>

Seriously, does it make you feel better if you complain about a game you can’t play? Does it sooth your fanboy soul to know that this game “sucks” anyway because it has a static camera? Sounds a lot like the fox and the sour grapes to me.

Where’s my U.S. confirmation Reggie? Wii 2 (Project Cafe) is due to debut at E3 so Wii’s on a short list now

  • Rather like what I see, but building hype was the easy part. Hard part is actually getting this overseas.

  • It’s good to see this type of game coming back.

  • PrinceHeir

    the game looks lovely :D

reminds me a little bit of Neir and Castlevania Lament of Innocence and Curse of Darkness ^^
