Here’s Europe’s The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D Pre-order Poster

Earlier this week, Nintendo of Europe announced a special The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D package for those that pre-order the game from or Gamestation. The package comes with a double-sided A3-sized poster with Link and Epona on one side and Link and Ganon on the other.

Additionally, NOE also said that the game would come in a gold sleeve for pre-orderers, which it turns out looks like the American cover for the game.

Here’s a comparison of the regular and pre-order European covers for the game:

Regular                                 Pre-order

While it isn’t a completely overhauled remake, Ocarina of Time 3D does contain some new elements. The game includes tilt and touch functionality for first-person mode and navigating the UI, hint movies similar to Nintendo’s Super Guide feature, a Boss Challenge feature, and the Master Quest version of the game as an unlockable, with a horizontally flipped world.

A bag of red Rupees to Celedin for the tip!

  • why is that Europe seems to be getting all the special editions, preorder bonuses and earlier release dates lately….

    • As far as i’ve seen, Zelda has only been the one being release early there…. And well, is understandeable, i imagine Zelda will be released almost at the same time everywhere

    • w-w-w-w-wwait what? getting all the special editions, preorder bonuses and “early” release date lately???????? I’m not sure if my eyes are deceiving me but did I read that right?

  • shion16

     preorder box is lame xD

    • But with those posters…. *drools*

      • Not worth drolling about. The poster itself is folded to fit inside the case. Look at for preview of the preorder case. This is the WORST preorder bonus ever.

        • Oh darn! They ruined the poster!? Wtf is wrong with them!? Is not everyday you release a game like this!

  • puchinri

Ah man NOE, why do you have to get everything now?
Well, I take it back. I am glad for EU of course. But Xenoblade and this?
    Lucky. vuv

  • The upper poster would be nice to put on my wall. I like it.

  • Suicunesol

Greece’s preorder bonus was way better.

    • lostinblue

was it? seemed kinda cheap looking.

  • Roanoke834

So is that golden box just a slip like the one that came with Super Street Fighter 3d? Cause the standard box is far more interesting to look at. The posters are nice too. If only Europes getting this, then NoA is really slipping.

  • The posters look REALLY cool!!  would rock that it was a t-shirt, now that would be cool. :D But seriously the posters… ( sits and tries to draw it)

  • Tom_Phoenix

I’ll be disappointed if the game card doesn’t come in gold.

  • Soma

Isn’t North America getting a poster, too?

Not as pretty as the European one, but pretty classic from what I’ve seen.

  • does this include Australia? normally Europe does but mention of specific game retailers scares me although we do have GAME.

  • Covnam

I want it, come on NOA, you’re starting to look bad.

  • KrazyBean14

I like the regular box more to be honest.

  • I agree, the regular box art does look better. But being the kind of Zelda fan that I am, if I lived in Europe, I’d pre-order the game and also buy a standard copy with the better box art. ;P
