Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon Trailer Isn’t Spooky, But It Is Fun To Watch

By Ishaan . June 6, 2012 . 7:33pm

Luigi’s flashlight in Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon has a new strobe feature that you’ll require for stunning ghosts before sucking them into the Poltergust 5000.  Nintendo gave a fresh look at the game in an E3 trailer this evening:

Luigi’s Mansion 2 will feature multiple mansions, unlike the first game. It’s scheduled for release this holiday.

I’m loving that they’re going more cartoony with it, really gives the game character. And we’re apparently getting non-ghost enemies, I wonder how (if) you’ll fight the spider and others with the vacuum.

Either way, definitely one to watch for.

I was hoping for a simple *squash* but we’ll see x)

Well the butt of the spider is bright red.So throwing items at it?

So far not a Boo in sight. Wonder if King Boo will be the villain of this one too?

  • With a name like Dark Moon I kinda thought of P3 and then while watching this it seemed so cute! Well this looks like it’ll be pretty interesting, I wonder what his goal is dood.

This game looks great.^^ Luigi really needs to get more love lol. It seems he had the same problem with Waluigi lol where Wario game is much more than Waluigi’s…….. Does Waluigi even had his own game lol.^^

    •  At the moment no, and Waluigi is awesome. He’s only been in sports and party games since his debut in Mario Tennis back on the 64.

They should make a game called Waluigi: King of Troll for Wii U there lol.^^

        •  And I would play the hell out of it too and finally get an explanation on how he is able to summon a body of water to cheat.

Is it weird that I like him more then Mario?

Huh, it seems like not many people are interested in this (judging by the number of comments). Probably got overshadowed by Fire Emblem.

Anyway, I’ve been aching to get this game since it was first announced (which was last year, so you can just imagine all the painful days I’ve had to suffer). Glad that there’s a release date now, though, “holiday season” isn’t very concrete. Hey, at least I know it’s coming this year, so that’s a plus.

    Also, multiple mansions~! YAYIFICATIONS.

  • Been waiting for this ever since the Gamecube days :D Bring it on!

  • Hey! Toad. I wonder if that means you get a buddy.

Can’t say I’m super-hella-hyped for this, but it looks like a pretty decent game. Just, you know… lacking in “wow”-factor. It looks nice, like it could be fun, but nothing that really jumps out and grabs you… in the daaaaarrkkk….
