Sweet! I loooooovve  Archylte Steppe. And a few others. now about that demo

  • OatMatadoQuatro

Somnus has a video? The one where Noctis kills a group of soldiers with swords and breaks one’s neck? I wonder how will that fit with the chibi characters

    • KHSoraKeyBlade

Somnus is only a field song in this, the picture in this article is a screen shot of the song. You essentially just run on a building… the chocobo appears as well.

  • Aqua King

Did Japan DLC ever get 1000 words (X-2)? I would like to see that here.

  • LexKitteh

The real question is whether or not the Type-0 music makes it in, so we can have a faint glimmer of hope to hold onto for the game coming to the west..!

    • Foofin Around

Type-0 does have music in this game.  It was reported on awhile back.  It’s for the Japanese game, but I think I might remember that there was news of almost all, if not all, of the DLC music being brought over to the West as well.

      http://www.siliconera.com/2012/03/05/theatrhythm-final-fantasy-adds-music-from-final-fantasy-type-0/

I don’t know what that means for a Western release of that particular game, but at least you can enjoy the music for this game. (^_^)

Oh, and awesome avatar!  Nice to see a fellow Ruby fan! (^o^)/

      • LexKitteh

Ah, that is what I was referring to, I hope they wouldn’t tease us by including the song for the west and mention its from Type-0 when they have no intention to release it here. (I’d buy it anyway though..) But who knows, Im really just looking for some hope to cling to.. (╥_╥)

And yes! Ruby is one of my favorite characters of all time! (*^ワ^*)

        • Foofin Around

Yeah, that would just be kind of… hard to take.  I’ve heard all kinds of things on that game’s release plans, but the most recent is “rumor” that it’s been shelved. (;-_-)

It’d be nice to see the song released after this three week plan though!  Not only might it be hope, but it’s music from a Final Fantasy game!  I don’t think I’ve heard a bad song announced for this game in particular, so people picking it up are in for a treat. (^_^)

  • GaiunxWolfenX

not to be an annoying persona but where is you are not alone??? FFIX best song and one of the most memorable nobuo uematsu songs (in my humble opinion) and i have not saw it (if its already out please tell me)

I hope the stage flies around the city of vsXIII like in the last trailer. The game should also have epic choir orchestra theme during the action bits from vsXIII trailers.

  • ALfromHELLSING

Come on SqureEnix give us real Emotion! And where’s Last Battle from FINAL FANTASY X? I was about to purchase it today (it was announced in the previous news), however it’s just not there. Me no happy.

  • Monsley

Nice! “The Archylte Steppe” is one of my favourite video game tracks ever, so I’m really happy about this! :D
    Now if only I had a 3DS…

  • badmoogle

I like how there’s not even one song from XIII-2 in Theatrhythm but there is a song from a game that doesn’t even exist.

    • http://www.siliconera.com/ Ishaan

      “2. Etro’s Champion (Final Fantasy XIII-2)”

      • badmoogle

…and i’ve even read the list twice to make sure before i wrote my post…:o I guess i need some glasses.

Still only one song from a full game’s soundtrack (that also happens to be the most recent FF game released) must be a bit disappointing for Toriyama’s team when you consider that a game that doesn’t even exist has also included one song.

  • Nikolai Sumcad

Does anyone know if Liberi Fatali ever made it into the list? I can’t remember.

Not exactly thrilled that half of these are from XIII and XI, but there’s going to be more, I’m assuming.

    Oh, and Somnus is cool.

  • Settsuo

I enjoyed FFXIII-2′s soundtrack a lot especially “Starting Over”. So I hope they release more from this game. I wouldn’t mind also getting more songs from FFXII(My personal favorite). The Salikawood is by far my favorite from FFXII, but also “Naivety”, “Penelo’s Theme”, “Neighborhood of Water”, and “Battle for Freedom” are really good. Then can’t forget Crystal Chronicles, those had some really great compositions as well. The main ones which comes to mind is “Shudder, Monster”, “Goblins Lair” and Kazenone” relaxing stuff, but I doubt they’d spread farther out then that :3

Lol, it seems i will really need to use Youtube to check what songs that i will really need to buy here.^^ As 0.99 is very reasonable here however buying all of them will spells DOOM to my wallet here.^^

I really hope they do more final dungeons; The Cradle Will Fall XIII, Pandemonium II, Crystal tower/ Dark Crystals III, and Place of Memory/ You’re not Alone (not really a dungeon) IX
