As previously reported, Hatsune Miku Project Diva f will have over 30 songs, six of which were specifically produced for the game. One of these is a song titled “Summer Idol” by Oster Project, and Sega shared a video of it this weekend:

Hatsune Miku Project Diva f is slated for release on August 30th in Japan.

Not one of the better songs.  I’m more into the electro-pop stuff that sounds like Perfume, and some of the light rock stuff.

  • Kefkiroth

This wasn’t too bad of a song, but I hope they can pull in more already-made songs than making so many original songs (like 6 out of 30+ so far?).

  • Yaminess

I’d enjoy Project Diva so much more if they included more male Vocaloids and their songs :/

    • The lack of Gakupo is saddening for sure. And Oliver, but he’s English. lol

      • Stuart Nisbet

They might show up in a mirai sequel? Project Diva doesn’t do non-Crypton vocaloids, with the exception of the ones derived from Miku, but even then they’re still using Miku’s voicebank. Probably legal issues. I don’t like Oliver anyway, he’s really warble-y and gross, and Gakupo/Kaito have pitching issues. The female vocaloids are just better.

  • So… does this mean we don’t get the Project Mirai voice change thing going on? Cuz… the voices comming out of Luka and Meiko’s mouths… wern’t Meiko and Luka.

  • Lisa Fraulein

Is it me or does Meiko and Luka sound different??

  •  This is like it was taken straight from those surfer films of the 60s.
    I love it

  • Oh course that wasn’t luka and MEIKO’s voices, it was just a module switch. It’s still just a rin and Miku song.
