Intense, the developer behind the Escape Trick series, are about to release their second dungeon crawler. Dungeon RPG Picdun 2 is a sequel to Go Series: Picdun, which Gamebridge localized for the West.

Picdun 2 has over sixty floors to explore and now you have a three lady party – a magical girl, archer, and a whip wielder. Picdun 2 also has technique commands, which work just like Auron’s Overdrive in Final Fantasy X. Players have seconds to hit a series of buttons on screen to do special attacks.

Picdun 2 comes out on August 22 and will cost 500 yen ($6) on Japan’s eShop.

You know, I think Xenogears is a more fitting description. Or not, seeing as the button inputs are randomized.
