Today, Gust shared the first screenshots of the game via You can take a look at some of them below, and find Aothers at their website.

Atelier Totori Plus is scheduled for release in Japan on November 29th. The regular version will cost 6,090 yen ($78), while a limited edition that comes with a Vita decal and paperweight will cost 8,190 yen ($104).

Totori without her lil hat is the cutest and strangest thing ever.
    Might import.

  • refrain

Totori looks kinda weird without her hat. But still cute as hell! I hope there’ll be an English release

  • raymk

So is the DLC characters going to have extra story events this time since you can get them in the game for free?

  • Was Totori the most popular/most selling Arland trilogy game? Cause I wonder why they port the second of 3 games. Not that I mind, I loved Totori.

  • Oltheros

NISA don’t let us down here.

  • I really love the Arland series. don’t understand why they dumped the character designer of this series…. Ayesha characters look very dull.

    • FitzpatrickPhillips

Really? I think they look more expressive and have the best designs thus far.

    • Anime10121

While I agree that the art/art style of the Arland games is LEAGUES above any other Atelier game (and many other games period), their ingame models leave a LOT to be desired.  While I find Ayesha’s art to be lacking in the same charm/beauty that the Arland series games had, the ingame models look leagues better than Arlands.

tldr:Arland had better art, Ayesha had better in game models

    • Juuu

I believe it’s just a standard for the series. Atelier typically goes in trilogies nowadays [or at the very least, loosely connected “series”-the Salburg generation, the Arland generation, ect.] and typically, each of those trilogies or generations gets their own artist. Sometimes there are exceptions, as I know of one artist [whose game and name escapes me, oops] that never got a reprise, but all in all, I don’t think Kishida Mel was “dumped” necessarily. It was moreso a decision to get a new art style to symbolize the start of a new generation, in a new location, with new characters. That said, I’ll miss Kishida Mel’s work, as I believe his art was astounding. Hidari’s models are growing on me though.

    • Kishida Mel is awesome, even the guys (the male characters he draws) are moe. Interested how the sales without Kishida will tally.

  • Koji Kabuto

This game is going to look amazing on the Vita screen.

As many said, Totori looks really strange without her hat.

  • Actually, this is pretty awesome for me.  I have been wanting to give these games a go, and having it portable might be the push I need to finally try them out.

Also, someone over at Japanator made this joke: “It comes with a paperweight, and a decal for your other paperweight”.
Lol, I wish desperately it wasn’t true.

    • Gust love their paperweights.

    • People keep saying that but my Vita gets used so much it’s already starting to have little nicks and scuffs like any handheld gets with age. c’:  Me and my GF both use it quite a bit, but neither of us has a smartphone so things like the Twitter and Facebook apps get a lot more mileage out of us than they would most people too, and I think that ends up being a large part of it.

That and her crippling Montezuma addiction. ;o

      • I love mine to death, just wish I used it a bit more.
And I don’t have a smart phone either, so I hear you on apps like FB and Youtube.

  • Ah, its nice to see that the Arland series is still going strong even if it is complete. =^_^=

    I believe in you NISA!

  • Cephrien

    Looks ridiculously moe–

    –and kinda dumb.
Like the last few games. They have some pretty kick ass battle themes though.

    • That’s rather rude. I could see if you had points you didn’t like about the games but to simply say the games are dumb is a bit much. Maybe it’s just not your cup of tea? As many others (those that bought, played, and enjoyed the games) would disagree with such a broad, vague statement.

      • Blunt, to be sure, but I suppose not everyone is polite about these things.  Still this is his opinion (which he is entitled to), but it I guess it is pretty rude to the people that worked on the game as well to call it dumb out of hand.

Maybe you just don’t like the way he worded it?  I liked the game and I’d assume you did too, but a look at Metacritic shows that Javon is kind of with the majority here.  PLenty of people played the game and didn’t like it.

        • Never said he couldn’t voice his opinion. It’s as you say the way it was worded. Saying points which he did not like would have been fine (or simply the fact he didn’t like the games would have been fine) but simply putting down the game with “dumb” is what i disagree with.

  • Loli-gaming on the go, n1 Gust ^^

  • (@[email protected] ) I feel like I’m in a court being shown evidence of whether I should get the Vita or 3DS first… I’m still undecided.

    • Jesse Thompson

Vita.  Persona 4: Golden is on the horizon, and the 3DS has been out for a longer period with fewer good games on it than what the Vita has and will have in the near future.

      • Herok♞

Yes P4G is coming out and I am also excited for it but it would be $250 for the system(All prices will be mininum)+$20 for a memory card and then $40 more for the game which would be $310 before tax and that’s getting everything at the cheapest point. If they were to get a ps2+memory card and Persona 4 instead it would cost around $50 at this point then it would be $170 for a 3DS and that would would leave $90 for games before tax. I love my Vita but it would be financially unwise to spend that much on a slightly enhanced port.

        • (O_  O ) Wow That is rather… Expensive

          • Rick R

That’s not entirely true. If you wait for the Assassin’s Creed Bundle as suggested you get the system, a game and a memory card for $250.

          • Oooh Comes with Memory card huh? Hmm That is really enticing haha

      • P4G Golden is rather tempting plus Ragnarok Odyssey, but there are games equally as tempting on the 3DS hence my undecided-ness XD

        • Anime10121

Best choice, wait for a while to see which builds the better library.  I bought a 3DS a couple months after launch (for $220 new), in anticipation for the Legends 3 Prototype (which was supposed to launch a month after I bought one) and the full games eventual release, and also for KH3D (which at the time, had no release date).  You wanna know what happened?  My 3DS essentially became a big paperweight for the better part of a year because nothing besides ports really released for it (well RE did, but that series has kinda worn dry on me) and the price went down 80 bucks which was 50 cheaper than I bought mine for.

All that said, dont make the same mistake I did and purchase a system prematurely, wait to see which one has the games you want RELEASE first.  I’m still waiting on Vita to show me some third party support, thats not just ports, while I do want Gravity Rush, Uncharted, this game (AT+), Ragnaraok Odyssey, and Persona 4, 2 are 1rst party (guaranteed support), 2 are ports, and 1 is an original 3rd party game that I’m really just hoping will be good (never did like the DS ones).  I need to see more support in the way of big/real 3rd party releases before I make the jump to Vita.

Although I dont regret my purchase of a 3DS now (have KH3D and looking forward to Epic Mickey in a couple months and BD:FF which I KNOW Square BETTER release here) I did all those months earlier when I bought one and had literally NOTHING to play on it.

          • Thank you for the advice anime~ It does seem my best bet it to wait it out. Waiting for the games to actually release over the announcement is a really good idea! Thank you so much (^.^ )

    • If you’re undecided, just wait it out a little longer and see which system is going to have more of the games you like in the long run.

I remember as far as a year ago, some people on here would insist every single day that 3DS was doomed, would have no games, and Vita was going to wipe the floor with it. Cut to a year later, and we obviously know what the situation is now.

What I will say is that you shouldn’t listen to most people in the comments for obvious reasons that I won’t get into.

      • Waiting a bit longer does seem to be best. A lot games are coming down the pipeline for both systems (plus knowing whether I should be getting a Jpn 3DS v.s US which also leaves me (x.x )). I think I may just wait it out a bit more. Thank you Ishaan.

    • Herok♞

If you want I can leave a comment for you in the open tread, that explains the pros and cons of both systems as someone who owns and loves both.

      • Whoa That is extremely kind of you Herok! I would love to own both eventually. Sadly my wallet says only one at a time haha~ I wouldn’t want to trouble you though (> < )

        • Herok♞

Its perfectly fine, I will write it up and tag you in it won’t take longer then 10 mins.
Edit here it is, and I avoided using biased when stating everything.

          • Whoa~! Thank you so much Herok~ If I could send you cookies though the monitor I would :3

          • Herok♞

             it really is no problem.

    • Visa Vang

Wait for the PSV Wi-Fi Assassin’s Creed III Liberation Bundle. It’s a great deal but its only available in Wi-fi only. That’s also around the time when the better games come out too.

      • Hmm Assassin’s Creed III bundle. I actually didn’t know there was gong to be one~ I am aiming for the Wi-fi version. Thank you for the suggestion Visa~

  • Rihawf

    I definitely should get this

  • Totori without her hat? What is this madness?

  • Alexander Aubert

    i see totori making a bikini……….

  • Hmm I”ll probably double dip.  I don’t like mix-matching series that follow closely to another so when I get my PS3 I’ll just buy as usual and get this anyways.

  • AndyFe

I didn’t think Totori could get any more adorable but then I saw her with glasses and I legitimately said D’aww out loud. I’ll import this for sure

  • Nitraion

Hmm already have platinum for this game i wonder if there something new besides costume…. and maybe cross saves?

  • ivanchu77

I spended tons of hours and got the platinum of the ps3 version not long ago, so i hope they put tons of additional content and not just a few new additional costumes, because even though i loved the game, at first there´s not enought new stuff to justify buying this game again

btw, Totori looks weird as hell in that picture with the glasses XD

  • Learii

lol she look funny with those glasses

  • sherimae1324

    me want this game ^_^

  • Atelier Totori for PSVita?… Wow, when did this happen? If it’s localized, it just makes me want to buy a PSVita even more~.

  • Asuna Ilano

I hope this gives way to Hyper Dimension Neptunia for vita
