Man I wanted to play this so bad but the 10GB download just took way to long:(

    • D’aww, it’s not so bad! Gogogo! Download whilst you sleep!

      • personablaze

        Thats….A good idea!,Tonight I think I’ll do this :)

        • LynxAmali

inb4 it freezes on you mid download.

          It did for me.

          • O.O

             Oh God…Oh God no…..

          • Testsubject909

Mid download isn’t so bad. At least you didn’t use up the full download in your bandwidth…

Me, yesterday, I had a large download die 6mb away from being complete.

            Soooo… I’m starting a 2 hour download again.

  • The numbers do not lie, this will be a fun game when it gets localized. Great job SEGA =^_^=

  • Morricane

Yeah it’s fun…I just should go and look for some people to play with except those I know from real life hahaha.

    • glad i co-founded an english speaking guild XD

      • Morricane

        Grr! :D I don’t care that much about the English…but well…
Playing rather casually though, like 20h of gametime in 2 weeks…just hit lvl17 and the desert haha.

     Great game good job sega

  • Registered user numbers are always inflated. I can’t be the only dumbass that registers multiple times. I must have at least 5 Ankama accounts.

    • You did that due to the whole server limits, right?

      • I honestly don’t remember. I think I would create an account, play, quit and whenever I wanted to play again I’d just make another account or something.

      • There’s also only one character allowed per account unless you buy more slots.

I hope the Vita version can turn into Phantasy Star Offline, still, offline or online,it will be an awesome game nonetheless

    • Kefkiroth

Me too, I wonder how they will be able to manage the game being online all the time on the Android and Vita because I don’t think 3G will cut it. I think an offline mode that will update their character once they go online would be great so you could grind anywhere.

    • Tom_Phoenix

They confirmed long ago that PSO2 is an online-only game.

    • We will have more details about it during the TGS. For me it would make sense that the Vita version had some kind of offline mode, since the device is portable and everything, but who knows… we will see.

  • MCoelho

I’ve been wanting to give this a try, it’s in Japanese right? I remember that the beta had a english patch, i’m afraid i won’t understand a thing unless there is a patch.

  • Spider-Man

My mind registered this as over 9000 at first…

  • idofgrahf

If it gets an English patch I’ll go and try it. As for the numbers, they do not lie BUT how many of the 900,000 registered users continues to play the game? That is whats important not how many registered but how many plays it on a regular bases.

  • So…when will this game come here? In winter they will release the game to Android witch I believe it’s Japan only and in spring Vita version, Japan only?

    Best regards!

    *clears throat again*

That’s wonderful to hear that PSO2 is growing nicely in Japan, I await with great excitement for the day when it comes here to North America and gets released on the Vita as well…

  • Darkrise

I feel like my life will be wasted away with PSO2, Guild Wars 2 and Blade and Soul. Maybe I should cut-down to playing either one of them.

  • I am very excited about this game specially the Vita version. I must admit I was kind of disappointed about the lack of a Monster Hunter game on the Vita (I will probably going to end up getting a 3DS for MH3U), but I am actually very pleased that this and other similar games of the same genre are showing up. Cant wait for Tokyo Game Show to know more details about it.

  • Ulicies

Hopefully the “Spring 2013” TBD release of the Vita coincides with the Western release as well.

  • Ulicies

Hopefully the Vita’s “Spring 2013” date coincides with the Western’s “Spring 2013” release.

EDIT: Whoops, sorry for the double post.

  • Mrgrgr and Unacceptable World

My only question there is how many from 900k there actually buy something inside the game?

I myself would not have any problem for monthly payment as long as the game has a vast amount of content and damn fun to play.(which seems that PSO2 looks that way.) As doing a free to play sometimes can only hurt the company there as they are unable to get their revenue back.T_T

    • You can’t use your personal room, get additional MAGs, or sell things on the Auction House without paying (but you can buy things on it).

There are also various items in the AC Shop you can buy. And also AC scratch for higher quality (yet random) items.

      • Mrgrgr and Unacceptable World

While yes we are limited if we play for free here but from what we see there, the limitation is not so heavy.

In the end, by having this ftp it would also cause the game to slowly change into pay to win game there as some gamer will be able to get more rare item by paying money while some player who is playing freely there will not be able at all or will have a very hard time there.

        • It won’t be P2W because the AC shop won’t allow selling of high-level weapons or equipment.

          • Morricane

…and even if you get them you won’t have the base stats to equip the gear anyway.
