Bravely Default’s Dark Knight Job Turns Pain Into Power

By Spencer . September 18, 2012 . 7:33am

imageBravely Default: Flying Fairy has at least one badass class. Square Enix announced the Dark Knight job, which has abilities that consume HP. Dark Knights also get a parameter boost each time they take damage. If you’re really out for blood you can use the Death Sentence skill on yourself for a huge parameter boos.

Bravely Default: Flying Fairy will have some collaboration content too like a weapon you can get with the next issue of Dengeki Online. The magazine will include a serial code users can redeem for an in-game item.

Bravely Default is slated for release on October 11 for Nintendo 3DS.

    >”At least one badass class”

Clearly you haven’t played the demo to see that Elvis Presley lookin’ class.

    • Nasser Al-Ojayan

Thing is Elvis Presley looking classes are beyond bad ass.

  • Dice

Why the tit is there no announcement here yet?

    • AhmadMDev

       I wonder too..

  • Nasser Al-Ojayan

Death Sentence sounds like casting doom on yourself, though i wonder if the stat boost would be instant or it would increase every time the counter ticks down.

    • AhmadMDev

die (in the game ,not responsible if you died in Real)…
      and it will be Instant.

      • Nasser Al-Ojayan

You mean kill yourself and give your allies a stat boost?

        Sounds possible.

  • Showmeyomoves

This is the class this game deserves, but not the class it needs right now.

  • kool_cid414

Am I the only one who thinks ninja is a badass class?

  • s07195

    ‘huge parameter boos’.

Tried taking that literally and LOLed.

  • Mrgrgr and Unacceptable World

Reading the title makes me though that Dark Knight is maso class there lol.^_^

  • Ayaka

Mmh Dark Knight job… HP consume… Square Enix…
All this awesomeness reminds me when I first played Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of Lions, and similar to what I think about the Disgaea series (which ironically is my favorite brand since years), this kind of game works in a marvelous way on handheld devices.

Looking forward to see how the game will surprise me.

    • AhmadMDev

for me ,reminds me with FFIV’s cecil ,a Dark Knight at start.

  • Bruno Silva

Still crossing my fingers for the best job in the FF series: Blue Mage! Such an underrated job. They’re prolly sitting that one out, knowing many dislike/don’t even use that job.

    • Exkaiser

      Blue Mage is best mage.

      • Bruno Silva

There are a few of us who love Blue Mages, but we’re still a relatively low minority. But dang, if one has the patience to fully train a Blue Mage….they can be unstoppable, if you know how to use ‘em properly.

Kill your self (in the game ,I’m not responsible if you do it in Real life).
and the Zombie out of you will be Double Your power.

    • Mrgrgr and Unacceptable World

      You get the POWER!!!

  • Jorge Santos

Have they said how can you change your job? I mean, can you change ala FF X-2, in the middle of the battle?

  • SetzerGabbiani

Why not just call the class Old Cecil?

This game seems to be Final Fantasy without calling it Final Fantasy.  Not a bad thing, and re-branding 4 Heroes of Light, might be a good move, but a duck is a duck.

  • Jonathan

    pleasure from pain?

    • Waifoong

       Are you talking about M?!

  • Magius Necros

You cannot stop the darkness that is to come.

  • Go2hell66

if i could have any job in the world it would be this

  • Placido Michael Cortorreal Flo

And they still dont make an announcement(sorry if i spell that wrong) as if this game is ever seeing other countries…SE is torturing me with the suspense of that news…
