Rollercoaster Tycoon 3D snuck out in North America last week, and Europe gets it this week. Atari are publishing the game in the U.S. while Namco Bandai are handling distribution in Europe. Namco also provided a trailer for the game this morning that gives decent look at how it plays:

Rollercoaster Tycoon 3D has a story mode where you manage and help grow your father’s Rocket Coaster Company. The game also has a Park Sandbox mode, where more experienced players can dive in without any story or assistance offere along the way. n-Space also tossed in a neat feature that lets you ride rollercoasters in first-person with stereoscopic 3D.

  • I’m so old-fashioned. I still really prefer the RCT 1 and 2 style far more than 3’s.

It looks interesting, but the question remains: will they let me kill my park guests? That alone will determine if I buy it or not.

      Nope sadly.T_T

I think everybody who played the first rollercoaster looks back with affection.

I remember I was only 8 or 9 when it came out and we played it with the whole class. It really was a game of who can get the highest prices, most pukes, most kills :)

  • well i’m a sick nerd of theme parks and rollercoaster and even i don’t see me getting this strange new RCT, they’d better just port or remake RCT1 or RCT2
