Tekken Tag Tournament 2 Wii U Edition Or Is It An Invasion Of Giant Mushrooms?

By Spencer . November 7, 2012 . 3:20pm

Namco Bandai is ready to re-launch Tekken Tag Tournament 2 with Nintendo costumes and Mushroom Battle mode as Tekken Tag Tournament 2 Wii U Edition. Mushroom Battle mode plays more like a party game than a competitive fighting game. Snagging Super Mushrooms makes your character grow and increases your reach. Poison mushrooms shrink characters and take off a bit of life. Combos and juggling work a bit differently when you’re 10 feet tall.

Tekken Tag Tournament 2 Wii U Edition also has Tekken 3’s Tekken Ball mode and a paint feature which lets players draw on costumes. For more about the Wii U version and the costume collaborations check out this chat we had with Tekken producer Katsuhiro Harada.

Tekken Tag Tournament 2 Wii U Edition is a Wii U launch title in all regions.
