Gamindustri needs your help! OK, so may have defeated the evil Arfoire in another Neptunia game. The CPUs have been living peacefully since then, but Neptune until Neptune somehow ends up in another dimension that feels like Gamindustri… from the 1980s.

Hyperdimension Netpunia Victory has a new set of enemies called the "Seven Sages" that wants to create a world free from CPU rule. The strangest thing about this place is Planeptune’s CPU is a new girl named Plutia. NIS America has been working on the English version of Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory and here’s a first look at the game’s localization.

  • Nee Nee

    Plutia?
    PLUTIA?
I’ll stick to the original name, thanks.

    • Landale

To be fair. The pun was kinda always there, or at least implied. The o just kinda got dropped quickly as I recall. Besides Pluto is a masculine name, and usually the process of gender changing a name is simply swapping an o ending to an a or ia. So… Yeah.

  • Zephyr2010

Later than the last two, but still a buy!

  • ヴァルラシュ

    Hell yes, Neptunia forever

Better gameplay and less fan service and it’s a deal.

    • DesmaX

Better gameplay and more fanservice is what you get

I cannot resist the Neptunia bonus lunchboxes.

Consider this another victory for NISA..

  • Carlos Escalante

Is this game any better, mechanically, than the previous ones?

  • Draculoid

Ummm excited for the game but…I hope the games localization isn’t anything like that first paragraph description :/. Honestly is it just me? I look down at the comments and not one person even mentions how nonsensical it is. Maybe I’m just seeing things….somone please respond!

    • Landale

Took me a little bit to figure out what was wrong with the paragraph. My head scrambles what I read anyway, so I’m used to things like it. Anyway, it’s not really nonsensical just disjointed, move one instance of Neptune and the but.
“OK, so Neptune may have defeated the evil Arfoire in another Neptunia game. The CPUs have been living peacefully since then, until Neptune somehow ends up in another dimension that feels like Gamindustri… but from the 1980s.”

  • ragingmerifes

As much as the reviews hate this game, whenever I see this beautiful artwork allied to NIS humor, I can’t help it but love it.

    • DesmaX

I can see the reviewers giving this a 7

I mean, the game runs fine on the PS3 this time

  • z_merquise

This is going to be my first Neptunia game.

To anyone imported this game, do I need to play the previous games to fully enjoy this or can I enjoy this on its own?

    • http://epiclyamazing.wordpress.com/ AzureNova

You should be able to enjoy this stand alone, but it would help if you play the others first to get the gist of the games and how they are. Hope this helps =^_^=

  • artemisthemp

Hope Pururu and Iris Heart voice are as good in Englsih as in Japanese

  • AndyFe

very awesome! Man the first quarter of next year is going to be busy for me

  • KingGunblader

Good to see more JRPGS coming our way… I don’t play these though. The general presentation turns me wayyy off. Happy for the fans though.

  • http://twitter.com/DarrylThinks The Letter D

I’m not going to lie, I’m shocked that this game has such a cult following. I do like the humorous concept of Hyperdimension Neptunia, but I hear that the gameplay is mediocre.
