    I hope it gets localized.

  • sandra10

Resolution for the video only goes up to 360p. :(

  • Juuu

Beautiful, as expected! However, I’ve learned my lesson about Vanillaware. Don’t get TOO hype until the game actually comes out in my language. Even a localization announcement isn’t enough anymore, lol. However, this is one that I’d really have no problem importing. I already know the basic story, and if it doesn’t make it over, perhaps some fans would translate at least summaries of the new content. c:

  • AlteisenX

is jump still pressing up? I hope it isn’t… probably the only thing I disliked about the original. Hope it gets a localization anyways.

    • Go2hell66

lol that is the one thing i’ve been dreading since the game was announced on vita

    • Zonic505

Agreed. If there’s one thing I really hope the Vita version has, it’s custom controls or making it so one of the buttons is the jump button.

  • AQuatermain

If someone told me that is the Wii version, I would not see the difference.

    • eilegz

agree the wii version was so good looking that even on HDTV i couldnt see the jaggies

      • Abend

if you could see a large dinosaur raptor i would be worried too

    • Ladius

That’s because the Wii version already looked fantastic.

    • Byron Brauner

The previous comparisons done here made the differences VERY obvious

  • d19xx

Can’t wait for this. I also hope they port some of Vanillaware’s PS2 games.

    • sandra10

They should just make PS2 classics playable on the system, And also add more PS2 games to the list.

  • I really hope this gets localized, but even if it isn’t. I’ll definitely import it for the sake of owning this gorgeous game on a handheld.

  • eilegz

one of the best looking game on the wii, i would like to see a sequel but its nice that ps3 and vita can get this

    • I’m pretty sure the port is Vita only.

  • This looks pretty great, but I may be one of the very few people who actually didn’t find this game all that enjoyable.
I mean it was cool as all hell at the beggining to have all those moves and super fast paced gameplay but the swords and new moves weren’t different enough to really compensate for the hordes and hordes of enemies and button mashing…
Again, your mileage may vary. I did enjoy the setting and the music and the visuals but the mashing really got old fast to me…

  • Lexaus_the_Alchemist

Looks gorgeous as usual. Hard to make a game like this look bad.

More info about DLC story characters, please!

  • I hope it comes over, never got round to the Wii version so I want to try this one.

  • This is nominated for most anticipated vita game in the PS Blog. Does that mean a localization? I think it would help if everyone here votes for it.

        write in ‘other’

  • Demeanor

Feels like a cross between Odin Sphere and the old Genesis game Shinobi., good stuff! DEFINITELY gonna get this if it gets localized, and 80% if it’s not :P if I can weather Xillia 2…

  • It obviously will get localized. And Dragon’s Crown may be never be released.

    • Atlus will release Dragon’s Crown

    • Neophoton

Musashi’s right. Atlus got a hold of Dragon’s Crown about a year ago, with just a vague date of 2013 given.

  • Nicky Tetlow

Bit hard to tell how much better the game looks on the handheld considering the video is in 360p. But it’s Muramasa, It would be amazing with the simplest of graphics.

  • Testsubject909

So beautiful… Must… Purchase… This and Dragon’s Crown on day one!

  • ShawnOtakuSomething

    sticking to Wii version s

  • xxx128

Holy shit. That looks cool for a recent game! This and dragons crown rock my pants.

  • isotrex

Probably this game and Soul Sacrifice are the only reason why I’m getting a Vita.

  • shogunknight

Very nice. The vitas library just keeps getting better.

  • Oltheros

Dear lord that looks fantastic. Localization…someone, anyone please.

  • Magnolia Busse

Loved Muramasa, I really hope it gets a chance to come stateside.

  • Aoshi00

Game looks great and I just love the music, led by Sakimoto Hitoshi (I think Crimson Shroud is done by him too as w/ all Matsuno collaboration).. I would definitely love to play it again on the Vita w/ trophies.. It’s a shame the extra scenarios would be sold as DLC which is locked by account.. The pre-order also comes w/ a mini-soundtrack w/ new jacket art, although I alrdy bought the OST and arranged soundtrack.. I wouldn’t mind the extra contents being on the cart even if it’s $20 more..
