I feel like i was trolled :( (unless you read the description under the title, which has an obvious use of the word “yen”)
Well lucky to those who can read Japanese.

    • almostautumn

Even still, if you’ve never played Chocobo Racing this is worth the yen-psn card purchase. It’s a ridiculously fun game. Then spend the rest on panzer bandit!

  • Relytgninroht

    Dang. It’s only for Japan…

  • i think i am going to get some Japanese PSN credit for my account

  • I think most of pre-PS2 Final Fantasy games are available for PSN US, and maybe EU too. Would be nice if those stores also get a discount program.

    • The only pre-ps2 FF game the EU PSN doesn’t have is tactics. We do have the PSP version update, but not the original PS1 version.

      • $36598391

I wish the NA PSN would get Saga Frontier, Saga Frontier II and Chocobo’s Dungeon II

        • I lost count of how many times I requested those games at the PSN EU Blog :/

  • Too bad PS1 FF games on the EU store run at 50Hz. They really should’ve just emulated the US copies instead of giving us choppy ones.

edit: Just in case they’re having a sale on the EU store.

Dude, can we please have some sort of color-coding system so that we can tell at a glance which stories are for which region? I’m getting pretty sick of clicking on stories like this and finding out they’re Japan-only.

    • Luna Kazemaru

uhhh the flag tells you at the very top after you click it along with the system so that’s kinda your fault.

      • And I’m pretty sure the summary text mentioned “Square Enix Japan” and “Yen”.

        • ddh819

maybe the region could be a tag like platforms are

          • Yes, that I certainly agree with. I don’t have the privileges to tinker with the site’s codes and RSS though.

      • LastFootnote

I’d like to see that flag before the jump, is all I’m saying.

        • Micrll

And there is no flag or indicator on the mobile version of the site.

          • PuddlesPuddles

This is true. I saw the headline on my iPhone, got excited, and then when I clicked on the story, discovered that it was Japan-only. If the headline had been “Square Enix … Japanese PSN” this problem would be avoided.

        • Luna Kazemaru

well that might be helpful @Micrll:disqus I see what you are talking about my bad

  • malek86

After PSN and iOS, I wonder if they’ll have a sale on the Android versions too. I could use some FF1 on the phone. Mmh, too bad it’s probably the Anniversary edition…

  • Tianyu Wei

Is the FFT here the Lions War or the original FFT on PS1?

  • Where’s FFIII?

  • NANAandLIZZYfanatic

Hmmm guess I’ll get IX and V now then while they’re on sale since I haven’t played either yet. (Was waiting til I finished a couple others but I like discounts)

Ooh question though, is 5 any good? I’ve heard 2 is horrible and I don’t rly care about playing 1 but I nvr rly hear much about 5.

Edit: lol nvrm missed the whole Japan part, hopefully U.S. gets the sale too!

  • By the way, I made a post about 25 years of
Final Fantasy since it’s today! Hope you can comment and tell me your first
experience with the game series and what you think about the series.http://nynyonlinex.wordpress.com/2012/12/18/25-years-of-final-fantasy/
