Atelier Meruru Plus For PlayStation Vita Leaked Via Retailer

By Ishaan . December 24, 2012 . 8:30am

Atelier Meruru is headed to the PlayStation Vita, according to a retail leak reported by Japanese blog, Game Jouhou.

Atelier Meruru Plus: The Apprentice of Arland was briefly listed at 7Net, slated for release on March 20th with new costumes and bosses, just like Atelier Totori Plus.

Game Jouhou report that the 7Net listing also mentioned another feature—new costumes for Totori, provided you have save data from Atelier Totori Plus on your PlayStation Vita.

Atelier Meruru Plus will be available in two versions—a standard edition for 6,090 yen and a special edition for 8,190 yen.

A localization from NIS would be welcome.

    • ragingmerifes

      NISA, btw.

      • Testsubject909

Sooo many other Jack Frosts are popping up!

  • ronin4life

I thought we already knew about this?
    ?_.

    • Manny Being Manny

Totori is probably what you’re thinking of.

    • Crevox

      Agreed

    Japan onry

    • Kevadu

Are you for real? The game hasn’t even been officially announced *in Japan* (this is just a retailer leak) and you’re bitching that it hasn’t been announced internationally?

Seeing how NISA already localized the base game it seems like common sense for them to tackle this.

      • http://www.facebook.com/magius.necros Magius Necros

Taking me seriously was your first mistake.

        • PersonaBull

The only mistake here is you thinking casual racism was acceptable in the first place, let alone ‘entertaining’ enough to make a comment with.

          • Theofratus ‘Geese’ Lester

            BURRRRRRRNNN!!!

  • TheSwordUser

NISA, please, make our Vitas here more worth it.

Guess I should sell my PS3 versions, gah.

    • Peeka Chu

Not if you’re a trophy whore. Twice the plats!

    • raymk

As the other guy said plat the game first if you like trophies as it isn’t hard to do.

  • komiko12

Wow. Many things seem to leak this past days.

    • nick_54g

gonna need some heavy duty diapers.

Sweet news! Atelier Totori Plus is probably one of the best Vita games yet released if you’re using games to learn the Japanese language. Coming from the PS3 it’s a beautiful port too.

  • Juuu

It’s a shame that Rorona seems to not be getting a “plus” version, which is a shame as I feel it could benefit the most from a bit of an overhaul. I hope these both get localized!

    • raymk

Well these games are still just ports and not really that big of an overhaul. I get what you are saying though but rorona was the least fun one of the games and if they weren’t going to change anything then I don’t want it.

      • Juuu

In a perfect world, it’d be nice to see them just put some visual polish on the game and add in a couple of the small improvements from Totori. While I enjoyed Rorona, it’s VERY clear to see that Gust was still sort of finding their legs on the PS3. The jump in quality from Rorona to Totori is pretty impressive. But at its core, Rorona’s got great characters and a lot to love, too! It’s a bit of a wild pipe dream of a project, but it’d be pretty awesome if they did.

    • Elvick

Yeah, I don’t like the “incompleteness” of it. xP

Maybe they’ll decide to do it later? (wouldn’t make much sense, but who knows)

    • Steven Reece

The reason Rorona doesn’t have a plus it doesn’t have extra dlc.

  • raymk

Goes without saying but let us know something NISA. I know that working with Koei is probably having its share of problems but please say something about the atelier series please!!! :(

  • Rihawf

    So much leaks lately.
    But this is AWESOME!

  • http://strictlyapathy.comoj.com/ SoulArbiter

Could see this happening. Not a bad thing. It’s a good opportunity for those who haven’t played the Arland series to get into the Atelier series in general.

  • http://www.segalization.com/ Kuronoa

Oh geez I haven’t gotten the PS3 version yet. NISA PS3 games are hard to find.

    • Testsubject909

There’s still a new copy at my local EBgames. Nobody’s purchased it in quite a long while.

      • http://www.segalization.com/ Kuronoa

Yeah I think mine has one. I should double check.

ANd Elvick: I didn’t have a PS3 when most of these came out. I do now and have Totori, Disgaea 4 and Neptunia mk2 for good prices.

    • Elvick

That’s why I buy them at launch, usually from NISA’s store.

Otherwise, you risk paying more than launch price from derps who bought it just to sell it later for profit.

  • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100000172099718 Dominic Hunter

    …And now I’m glad I didn’t buy that one either~!

  • Juan Manuel M. Suárez

Now all we need is a Christmas Miracle or similar crap so that NISA will bring them over to the West~.

  • Keyanf

So when we going to learn about A15?

  • HassanJamal

I am so confused….which atelier vita game is coming out soon? I mean internationally, not just japan.
