      Use proper english

      • M’iau M’iaut

Sir, you’ve made a bit of a habit lately of coming and leaving rather meaningless comments. It seems quite a few folks have been able to grasp the poster’s excitement. Please be more watchful in the future, you have been warned before.

  • SDDMN

I can bet it’s going to require my blood, sweat, and tears to get her 3rd and 4th costumes, as well as Momiji’s 3rd and 4th.

  • Sergio Briceño

I wonder if it’s really practical to hold the sword like that.

    • MrSirFeatherFang

Well Genshin also used the icepick grip with the Blade of the Archfiend, but looking it up it seems there are videos on this type of grip and apparently it was seen as amateurish but in the hands of a expert it can be deadly. Though all it said on wiki were all about knives…

      • Sergio Briceño

I’m thumbing you up, because that is a surprisingly interesting fact. But still, if two people were to clash swords in real life, I’m guessing the one holding his normally would be less likely to drop it.

From the earlier games cutscenes I know Kasumi has been holding the sword like that for more than a decade now, but I don’t know why exactly it looks less awkward on Ayane for me. Maybe it’s the sword lenght…

      she has no trigger discipline

    • David García Abril

Actually, that’s the way ninja used their swords in real life.

Although in real life ninja swords were shorter. They didn’t use katanas, like the samurai, but a special sword called “ninjatou”…

Reverse grip usually works better in close quarter combat.

      • Sergio Briceño

That makes a lot of sense. Especially considering ninjas weren’t supposed to engage in battle, they mainly had assassination jobs only. And also that explains why the sword lenght with the reverse grip looks so awkward. Thank you sir.

  • Azuardo

I used to always wear the white dress in DOA. Seeing it covered in blood in NG3 has a certain appeal to it… Do hope this all comes to the PS3 eventually, since I am loving the look of Kasumi in this.

  • Göran Isacson

Digging her leather outfit the most, because cape. It may not be as wonderful a match as scarves and ninja, but capes and ninja is fine too.

    • neospite

Yeah, plus her ponytail looks kinda like a scarf when it flows behind her anyway.

  • gamefreak86

Damn. Another game to add to list. Gonna have to stop after MH in March. Backlog is too big already.

  • raymk

So much hotness and badass all on one woman! Kasumi looks good in almost anything and I’m glad they did pick all good costumes she actually has.

  • Mecha_the_Hedgehog

I’m buying the game today cant wait and great costumes well the last one with the Kimono looks kinda goofy but the others are awesome.

I’m boiling with anger at seeing this. It’s getting really tense on their social networks, they should stop that WiiU-loving madness ASAP and address the real fans before their image is in shambles.

    • Azuardo

I can understand this frustration. The games have never been on Nintendo consoles so the series’ main fans are likely to own NG3 on PS3/360, and are unlikely to buy a Wii U. I’m sure this will make its way over to PS3/360 eventually.

      • sd28

not really the same people could have easily owned more than one console though I do believe that it may come out on the other consoles eventually.

personally I believe whining about this now seems really silly and unnecessary since additional exclusive content to this version was always going to happen as the want to sell the wii u edition at the moment and when they are done with that they will most likely make this paid dlc for the other version or a new disc release best to just wait it out and see what happens.

        • Azuardo

But on the other hand, whining to the devs has made them take note that owners of NG3 on PS3/360 want this DLC real bad to the point that they’ve admitted they don’t want to leave them out. Sometimes a bit of whining and complaining has to be done to give people what they want.

Actually one could argue that the games are returning to their roots and henceforth belong on a WiiU more than the other consoles. =P

        • Azuardo

Fair point if you want to go all the way back to the NES days! But yeah, I just meant the trilogy of current gen NG games which have developed fanbases on those platforms.

    • sd28

seriously deal with it and stop port begging

      • http://ryuz4ki57inenglish.wordpress.com/ Thomas FROEHLICHER

Do I like I “beg”? I don’t “beg”, I DEMAND. What is the point of the nes-era thing honestly? What was the Ninja Gaiden fanbase during the nes era? Do current Ninja Gaiden even KNOW there were NG games on NES? What is true, the reality before our eyes, is that the people that have made this series what it is now are being IGNORED and MOCKED. If Tecmo secretly prepares a NGS3 or some DLC to please everyone it’s fine. But it doesn’t change the fact that right now they’ve turned their back on the ones who’ve supported them all through this generation!

        • M’iau M’iaut

Begs, ports, demands, we ask that they all be left from the site. Too easy for things to go places where things get messy. Also, think before posting such things as ‘real fans’. We can can like different things and like them in different ways. We can also like the same things in different ways. None of these groups is more real or better than the other.

  • David García Abril

Wait, in the render of the white costume she wears her ponytail, but in the screenshots she has a braid. And in the blue kimono, she has her hair loose.

Does that mean that you can change her hair style too? Because that would be PERFECT!

  • Lester Paredes

I’m glad that they’ve managed to actually improve the game for it’s WiiU release. I wonder if they’ll bring those enhancements to the other systems, as I don’t have a WiiU. Yet.
