Players earn different colored Rukh, which you can use to level up your character. White colored rukh is for your HP, teal is for MP, blue for attack power, and purple for defense power. Altogether, there are ten types of Rukh in Magi: The Labyrinth of Magic.

Magi: The Labyrinth of Magic is slated for release on February 21 in Japan. Here’s a look at the characters you can play as and the enemies standing in your way.

Ooooh cool, i’d love to see it localized. I recommend the manga its great.

  • Tiramii

I really hope it gets localized cuz I love this series so much. >3<

  • HerokÔÖ×

so it looks like you can play as much of the characters which is a good thing.

  • British_Otaku

I hope it’s good. It sounds like people are enjoying the manga and anime not just here but in Japan, so it would be nice if the first (?) game did it justice even if it is region locked.

  • Pockystix

    Morgiana ftw~

  • landlock

Since anime like this is streamed legally worldwide now it would be nice to see more anime games released in English.

I’m going to be playing as Mor as much as possible <3.
Sinbad would probably be the last character I play as, too much hax going on with him.

  • kazdamaz

Is it really this hard to wait for the next arc to finish before making a game based on it…

Please localise come on funimation pick this up.

    • $30632660

I can see Funimation picking this up, it picked up Cardfight Vanguard and I never thought that would be localized.

      • Spirit Macardi

Funimation didn’t dub Cardfight Vanguard, it was done by Ocean.

        • $30632660

I keep forgetting that lol.Everytime I see the banner/logo/ad on the manga website I go to, i automatically assume it was Funimation.
Didn’t Ocean dub One Piece and DBZ?

          • Ocean didn’t do One Piece, but they did DBZ. Although I don’t know if they dubbed the whole thing for Canada’s broadcasting.

    • Funimation never localized games. And Magi is licensed by Aniplex.

      • kazdamaz

-_- well yeah I meant for licensing and localisation of an anime. Obviously without a dub there’s almost no chance for localisation. Interesting to know about aniplex’s licensing though.

        • There is a chance it can get localized, just don’t expect it to be released on retail due to being a Japanese-only title. Or that the developers won’t bother putting effort into that work. Whichever doesn’t matter to me cuz I sure as hell don’t expect a good anime-licensed game developed after a few episodes.

  • Z3

If this will let me play as Kou Empire characters; Ren Kouha, Hakuryuu, Hakuei, Kouen, Kogkyouku or Koumei then I might consider buying a 3ds

  • Lazulis

Sinbad, Judal, Cassim?!?! YES. If this game sells well, maybe the Eight Generals or the Kou dungeoun capturers would be playable in future games…

    So excite.

  • Jirin

Combat looks interesting. I’ll probably pick it up if it comes here.

  • So using Morgianna. If this gets localized then yet another reason to propel me to buying the Nintendo 3ds. I’m already keeping my eyes on the 3ds XL. Now I just need more games to justify buying it. Like Monster Hunter and some games on Japan still to cross. Oh and Fire Emblem.

  • Firekitty

Since the anime’s available subbed on crunchyroll, it’d be nice to see this get localized…No need to dub it, since the anime’s not dubbed; just translate the menus and slap some subtitles on the story scenes…

    But I’m dreaming, I guess :.
