Gust added extras to Atelier Meruru Plus like a new event that appears to involve Rorona and Rorona’s mentor Astrid Zexis.

Just like Atelier Totori Plus, Atelier Meruru Plus has new costumes. In addition to this black dress, Meruru has a Rorona costume.

    Meruruuuuu!

  • ShinStar

If you could dye her hair black, then you’d have Gothic Lolita Meruru.

    • AnimusVox

      Can’t say I don’t love the idea :>

    • raymk

Is it required for someone to have black hair to be gothic?

      • ShinStar

No, but I think it would fit the style more. Either way, she’s still cute lol.

  • TatsuyaKyo

Still waiting for a new Mana Khemia or Atelier Iris game. >_>

      No love for Atelier annie?

It was part of the O’rdor subseries, and as far I remember, both and its successor, Atelier Lina, did pretty well in Japan. However, the first part of that series, Atelier Lise, was universally panned due to being filled to the brim with gamebreaking bugs. Gust rereleased later on a fixed version and made a card exchange program to replace the buggy ones, but unfortunately, the damage was already done.

        • Ladius

Sadly, while Atelier Lina was indeed a really interesting game, its sales were really low: it ended up doing half of Lina’s LTD figure and 15k less than Annie.

    • pekikuubik

You’re gonna have to keep waiting then, because Japan didn’t care about those subseries. The first Iris did pretty well, but after that the numbers dropped significantly. If Gust feels like experimenting (to that extent) again, they won’t do it with the Atelier franchise.

      • Ladius

Pretty much this, not to mention the Arland trilogy was actually a return to the series’ roots, something thay may be difficult to notice for us western gamers since most of us were introduced to the series by the first Atelier Iris.

    Renkin Shoujou! :D

  • HassanJamal

Cant wait to play this :D

If NISA could bring this game over to America, I spent so many hours on this, and it would look amazing on the Vita. I would play it all over again if I could take this wonderful game on the go.

    • Herok♞

Well from now on NISA is on going to be the translator if anything KT is in charge of the series now.

      • Eric Harris

I thought since they already did Meruru they would be in charge of that. I honestly don’t understand why they handed it over and the new relationship. Is NISA so busy with even more new Jrpgs? I hope so.

        • Herok♞

Well they still have the rights to normal Meruru but since Meruru + came out after the deal NISA never had the rights to it to begin with so it not like they handed it over, The new relationship basicly boils down to things KT bought Gust, so they regulate what they do and who they make deals with, all deals that Gust made before being bought still stand Hence NISA still has control of the base Arland games, however KT still had them do the translation for the new game(which KT might just do itself from now on if the game doesn’t kill the series outside of Japan). Also with all the stuff NIS is making I would say NISA is keeping busy.

Im going to plat this game too. :)

I’m actually really loving that black dress, she looks tuff and cute in it to me. I’m actually hoping they cute down on the swimsuits and gives her more formal costumes or an actual princess costume.

  • saintfighteraqua

Too bad we’ll never see this.

    • Elvick

      Not with that attitude!

  • biskmater

Pamela…. nah, couldn’t be that lovable ghost could she?
