$50 for a port? no tanks

    • Sean ‘Geg’ Reddie

See my reply to Yoshiya ^

  • Unless it’s enhanced in some way, no buy. I’m happy with my $20 3DS copy.

    • Sean ‘Geg’ Reddie

There is quite a bit of new content involving a new enemy, new raid mode characters including HUNK and ‘previous Resident Evil Series characters’, aswell as a new difficulty mode, new weapons for raid, new skillsets for Raid and upscaled HD graphics.

      • yoUNg_grOUp568

i don’t know if that’s worth the extra money. To me personally it’s not worth it paying $50 for a game i already own just with a couple of new things added in

        • benhofb

Yeah, I second that, I was pretty amazed with the content in the 3DS version, so a new enemy and raid mode character isn’t going to warrant a re-purchase for me.

  • omeganeko

wow i loved the game but that is pricey.

  • SirRichard

I’m debating whether or not I’ll go for this port or the 3DS original; it looks alright here and the 3DS is hitting its stride in terms of getting games, but the 3DS version would be easier to get cheaper.

    • benhofb

I got my 3DS copy of Revelaions for about 20 bucks at GameStop. And I must say, it is one of my favorite games for the system. The graphics are absolutely amazing (for a nintendo handheld). Its a steal for the system.

  • Hopefully it’ll be good.

  • Crevox

Capcom is doomed to forever misspell this game

According to YouTube, this is an “announcment” trailer…

    • Capcpom.

    • Samurai Don

Which is why they are charging $49.99 for the game so that they can finally buy a dictionary.

  • ddh819

any chance of 3D for ps3?

    • They aren’t talking specifics. We got in touch to ask about off-TV play on the Wii U GamePad, Wii Remote/Nunchuk support, and PS Move support on PS3, but they said they’d share specifics at a later date.

    • Elvick

On the PS Blog they already sad no, since they wanted to be “fair”…

“1. Wasn’t necessarily the WHOLE point, but it’s hard to really get away without it on certain platforms. That being said the PS3 version will not support 3D unfortunately. We wanted all the new versions to be consistent with each other and 3D wasn’t doable on all platforms so the decision was made to move forward without it.”

Honestly, it’s just “Yeah, we’re too lazy.” to me. Plenty of multiplatform games have 3D on PS3. And special features (Kinect/Move/whatever) on one platform.

      • ddh819

thx for the info-i did see they said move support was undecided, hopefully that gets included

  • Colin Tosh

Its great to see a Wii U version! Given it was made with 3DS in mind it would be the best possible console to port it to. And I would take this in HD over a port of RE 6 any day. To me this is the true RE 6 any way.

  • Yeah….I’m double dipping for this one. This game is so awesome, Capcom deserves my munny.

The RE series needs more games like this. This is what I’d like for the future of the series to be like :/

  • benhofb

Meh, I would be tempted to buy it again, but only if it was on the Vita. Not to be a Vita fanboy or anything, but Revelations would be just perfect on dat OLED! And there would be no need for the CPP.

    • You never needed the CPP in the first place. Only game on the 3DS that actively benefits from it is Metal Gear Solid.

      • benhofb

Agreed. I played it with the standard control fig just fine. Its just that the CPP allows you to move and shoot which would have helped a lot in certain situations.

        • GaiunxWolfenX

in revelations you can move and shoot by pressing L and moving, you’ll be aiming directly in front of you and can shoot, you can’t aim up or down while your move though, and that is another issue XD, but you can shoot and move XD

  • eilegz

the price its high but it will come down eventually, hopefully they improve the game and not a direct port with some additions. All online component from re6 should come to revelations like improved cooperative (adding it on the main campaign), anytime join in and logout.

More story content would be welcome too

  • Otoya

wow, 44.99? more expensive than the 3ds. LOL

  • kupomogli

As others have said, overpriced port. Will buy when it’s $20 in a few months.

  • Immortal1

Being able to play this on my big TV with a PS3 controller in my hand is “enhancement” enough. Definitely getting it.

  • Neutron15

I love it on the 3ds, gonna get it again for Xbox and PC, Capcom make Rachel playable this time

  • David Swink

Too much money, the 3DS version came out almost a year ago at $10 less. the maximum they should charge is $40. Capcom franchise milking at it’s finest.

  • Dick Mountainjoy

For 50 it needs a Jessica Story, The best character in the game…

    Nay… Series.

  • I wonder will they have the “Revelaitons” special edition XD
