Dragon Ball Heroes: Ultimate Mission Has StreetPass Powered Spirit Bombs

Players can gather energy through others via StreetPass to charge up an ultimate Spirit Bomb in Bandai Namco’s upcoming Nintendo 3DS title, Dragon Ball Heroes: Ultimate Mission.

The basic way of gathering energy is by playing the roulette mini game that gives players small amounts of energy.

There’s also a bonus for landing on the same image three times.

Alternatively, players can gather energy from other people through the StreetPass training feature in Story Mode.

Players will then have the option to unleash the devastating Spirit Bomb on their next battle.

Dragon Ball Heroes: Ultimate Mission blasts off on February 28th, 2013.

Still feels weird seeing a female SSJ.

not as weird as Dragon Ball AF

I tend to keep my distance from fanfic.

Who is that? I didn’t notice her until I read your comment.

Probably just a custom character you play as for the game.

  • Sergio Briceño

    Coolest street pass implementation EVER.

    • Josh Strange

too bad you won’t find a lot of people playing this to do so.

On the one hand, a card battle game is not something that intrigues.

On the other hand, that IS a pretty damn nifty use of street pass. Credit where credit is due.

I am actually quite happy with the card battle game here.^_^ I mean, card game is kinda dying. If we can get Digimon, Pokemon and Monster Rancher TCG, i will be all for it.^_^

      • Göran Isacson

Ha ha, different strokes for different folks, I guess. I’ve never been much of a card guy like Magic or Pokemon… heck, not even much of a regular cardgame liker, so whenever I saw a franchise getting a card game I always just felt like it could have been a action-game that was taken away from me :( But I guess if you’re a fan of collectable card games and Dragon Ball, this is extra neat.

  • Finally real life Spirit Bombs!

  • Mrgrgr and Unacceptable World

Street Pass never seems cooler lol.^^

That is actually a pretty interesting idea. Maybe they can do something where someone requests energy and we can just lift our hands in the air with 3ds in hand and it can send something to know we are giving energy. Crazy idea what there.

Man, not got any interest in the game and haven’t watched Dragon Ball in years, but there’s no way in hell I can deny that this is the most awesome use of street pass yet.

[ok so it has near enough no competition for the title, but it’s still pretty damn cool]
