Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 Heroes Don’t Need To Worry About Blocking Or Dodging

By Spencer . February 1, 2013 . 4:30pm

Ninja Gaiden games are known for daunting to newcomers. Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 Plus is more welcoming thanks to Hero Mode. When you’re in a pinch, Hero Mode gives Ryu Hayabusa auto-guard and auto-evade abilities for a limited time. This way players can focus on cutting through enemies to escape danger.

Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 Plus has additional costumes like a Dead or Alive outfit for Ryu and Ayane’s Dead or Alive 5 costume.

I hope TN starts giving us more info on DoA5+ soon. TBH, I’m more interested in that game. Still looking forward to this though.

I don’t see myself trying hero mode, but I’m really excited to see Sigma 2 on Vita. New costumes look pretty nice, too! Here’s hoping they get it running at 60FPS unlike NGS+.

    can’t wait to play it!

Hardcore slasher games: you’re doing it wrong!

the problem wasnt the guard or evade, it was the shitty camera and the offscreen attacks….

Does it not have a mode where the enemies’ damage are cut in half below normal and enemy HP are halfed as well? That sounds more practical for practice runs than hero mode.

So………this mode will rank me lower than Ninja dog?T_T
