Oh nice, these are some of the better Game Rewards that Nintendo have offered so far.

  • Triplicity

I was a PlayStation pre-teen, so I missed out on the N64/GC side of things. Paper Mario’s good, right?
Apparently playing Super Paper Mario as my first and only entry into the Paper Mario series was a grave sin or something? I didn’t think it was super great bu I enjoyed it well enough.

    • KingGunblader

Super Paper Mario is the worst game in the Paper series IMO (I haven’t played Sticker Star). Thousand Year-Door is the gold standard.

    • Paper Mario (1) and (2) Thousand Year Door are leagues better than Super (3) and totally different games, gameplay wise.

    • Showmeyomoves

Looking at the bright side, at least you got the worst one out of the way. ;)

    • Paper Mario and Thousand Year Door are great games and top-notch JRPGs, Super (from what I’ve heard – it’s the only one I haven’t played) is a radical departure from the formula and not as good as the previous games.

Sticker Star is decent but also very different from the first two.

    • Ty Arnold

It could’ve been worse. You could’ve started with Sticker Star.

    • Triplicity

Haha, s’that so. I’ll be sure to pick this up then. Thanks, everyone!

    • Krisi92

It’s actually my favorite game of all time, so yeah, pick this up definitely. :D
But I don’t really understand the hate for Super and Sticker Star…. Those were really fun games, too.

Didn’t Wii VC games cost less in the past? I think I got Majora’s Mask for like 150 or so…

  • Oh wow. Those are some really slick rewards. Even with me wanting to get the Kirby Wii collection some time, I can’t help but want to grab this.

  • KingGunblader

    PAPER MARIO. Getting it.

  • Covnam

    Awesome, I needed Paper Mario.

  • Still saving my coins for the possibility of Mario/Wario Land releases on 3DS VC or that Dragon Quest Tactics game by Intelligent Systems in the future. However, I can confirm that Paper Mario is a great game which should be played by everyone.

Also, what’s Metal Torrent? I’ve heard the name before but don’t know anything about it. Is it good?

  • Cool! I’m pleased to see Paper Mario there. Just went and acquired it. One of my favorite N64 games will be on my Wii as soon as I get home!

  • Zonic505

Oh man, can’t remember how many times I’ve replayed Paper Mario. Such a great game. Completely recommend that.

  • gamefreak86

Which paper mario is this? First one?

    • Krisi92

Well, they only said Paper Mario, which is the title of the first game, and that screenshot is from that one, and also it’s the only one out there that’s on the VC… So yeah, it’s most likely the case.

  • kmantle

I ‘only’ have 195 coins, and I’m don’t have enough money to buy any game in the next month!

    • Sylveria

Have any post-play surveys to do?

      • kmantle

Nope, but it’s okay, I already solved the issue
I just got a few codes from some friends (it helps that the codes are basically useless here and I have relatives in USA who lets me use their address -for prizes and stuff-)
Now I even have a little more than 150 coins left

  • puchinri

That’s awesome. I still need to get the Kirby Collection, so I’m not worried about Super Star, but since my boyfriend and I (mainly him though) are playing through the Paper Mario games, we should try to get the first one while we can~!

Just signed up on Club Nintendo after reading this. :)

Sorry if this is slightly off-topic but I’ve got a question regarding Club Nintendo. On the FAQ, they posted this:

“Within each Club Nintendo year (July 1-June 30), earn 300 Coins to reach Gold status or 600 Coins for Platinum status. We add up the Coins you’ve earned and we don’t subtract the Coins you’ve spent, so you can use your Coins to redeem cool Rewards throughout the year!”

Is this only applicable to Gold and Platinum status? I currently have 10 coins, so if I get a reward worth 10 coins, does it get subtracted from my coins?

Thanks and sorry again if this is off-topic. :)

Looks like Nintendo just took a look at my favorite games, because Paper Mario and Kirby Super Star are my 2 favorite console games ever.
