    Duuuuuuude. DUUUUUUUUUUUDE.

  • kylehyde

Awesome news. I never played the game, so this is a really good chance.

  • Armane

    No waggle, right? Right?

  • Never played the Wii game but I always appreciate quality handheld versions so I’ll play it on 3DS.

  • Jose Mossel

Well this is good news :D

  • Zonic505

Kind of bummed it’s just a port, but hey, no motion controls. & maybe we’ll get lucky with additional content.

  • Letiumtide

I like this news because I hated the wiimote controls for this game.

  • Shane Guidaboni

At first I was like “It’s just a port?!” but then I realized this will be way better without forced motion controls. I’m excited!

  • Shadowman

    This is awesome!!^^

i think this will look great

  • Would rather have an HD version for the WiiU with Pro Controller support.

  • Tom_Phoenix

I’m disappointed that this is just a port of DKCR.

Nevertheless, I wanted to play that game at some point anyway. If this turns out to be a faithful port with extra additions and improvements, then I’m all for it.

  • KingGunblader

I got 100% completion this game on Wii, so I probably won’t buy this again. DKCR is fantastic though.

    • Devinja

Now its time to get 200% completion champ! (All levels in mirror mode!)

  • Ethan_Twain

Oh man… on one hand, I already own this game and played it VERY extensively. On the other hand, it is literally my favorite video game of this console cycle that’s wrapping up now. I would absolutely get my money’s worth of fun out of it were I to buy it again.

  • Eric Harris

I’ve read the comments and it seems I’m not alone. I didn’t even get further than 5 levels because the forced waggle completely ruined the experience for me. Now I actually might finish this damn game.

  • Bakuryukun

Oh man! This game is actually in my top 10 platformers and if this version fixes one of the biggest flaws of the game (waggling) I’m totally down for buying it.

I do eventually hope for a Wii U DKCR2 with elements and remixed music from DKC2 and 3 mixed among the new fresh ideas by Retro that wouldn’t have been possible on the SNES. That I would also absolutely buy.
