Fight Up To 100 Pokémon At A Time In Pokémon Rumble U

Just in case fighting 30, 40 or even 50 Pokémon at once wasn’t enough, Ambrella, the developers for Pokémon Rumble U,  have updated it to a grand total of 100 Pokémon at a time.

The Pokémon beat-em-up game will be making a return, boasting 649 Pokémon from the original Pokémon Red and Blue versions, all the way to the latest Pokémon Black and White 2.

Here’s a look at how hectic things can be in Pokémon Rumble U with a flood of Pikachu swarming the battlefield.

Just like the previous versions, you’ll be able to befriend Pokémon by defeating them and using them in your lineup of Pokémon toys.

You can play Pokémon Rumble U, but having family and friends to play with will bring out a whole different experience to the table. After beating a stage, you can compare your stats on how many Pokémon you’ve defeated, along with extra points from achievements.

So, this is what we call as Pokemon Musou?^_^

Please don’t tell me they have taken out the various areas you traverse before entering a battle royale like in the first game. from the screens this one looks exclusive to arena battles. Hopefully that is not the case and I am just worried for nothing. besides there has to be plenty of areas to recruit all those PKMN in.

yes i liked those levels in the wii game more than the arenas

I seriously don’t understand why they didn’t just wait a couple months to make this game so that they could also include Gen 6 Pokemon. I mean maybe it’s possible that they will announce that, but still. By only including the 649 I’m not seeing much that has this being worth it if you have the 3DS game.

So 300 pikachu vs a Charizard, Feraligatr, Sceptile, and an Empoleon ….
this is the Ultimate Showdown of Ultimate Destiny
good guys, bad guys, and explosions as far as the eye can see
and only one will survive, I wonder who it will be

I’m probably alone but… the graphics are total garbage. Less polygons and a shiny texture doesn’t make them look like toys, this looks like something I’d find on the n64. It’s like they had a bunch of interns make models and didn’t have the heart to tell them that they sucked so “Uh they’re… toys??”

Well… First there was My Pokémon Ranch (or whatever) on the Wiiware. They had to make minimalist Pokémon there so the game didn’t take too much space. Then they decided to make Pokémon Rumble with the same models, but this time, sell them as toys, giving an explanation why they had to look like this. Then they just kept the style… I agree, it does look bad.

I hope the new Pokémon from Gen VI come to this as free DLC, and then they release some kind of epic new campaign to meet them as paid DLC. Also I wonder what the Gamepad implementation will be in this game.
