I’ve never played the GBC Zelda games but were they the ones developed by Capcom?

    • puchinri

I believe they were~. (A subsidiary of their’s, at least.)

      • Tylor Boreas Makimoto

I believe Minish Cap was done by them as well.

        • puchinri

I was trying to remember whether or not it was. Thank you~.

          • idrawrobots

And Four Swords and Four Swords Adventures.

          • puchinri

Oh! I didn’t know/remember that about Four Swords. Thanks~. That was news to me, even though it makes sense.

      • Zhizn Snake
    • Ethan_Twain

They are two of the three developed by Capcom. Minish Cap was as well.

    • Krisi92

They were, but they are probably the two best 2D Zelda games, so you should definitely check them out.

  • Raltrios

Oracle of Seasons was my first Zelda game. If I can pick up digital Ages so I don’t have to use my brother’s physical copy (and still have compatible passwords), all would be right with the world.

  • 3PointDecoupage

Does that Mario Minis game have a release date yet? Its been in the coming soon section of the eshop forever.

  • Solomon_Kano

I didn’t get to watch the Direct earlier so, even though I know everything that happened, I think I’ll watch it now. See some bits of footage, hear Iwata’s accent — it’s just not the same when you read an article about it as it is when Iwata tells you lol.

    • Mrgrgr and Unacceptable World

Lego Iwata compells you to watch all Nintendo Direct lol.^_^

  • Ben Sylvia

My 3DS DEMANDS those Zelda games!!!

  • Mrgrgr and Unacceptable World

No Earthbound picture makes me sad here.T_T

  • Eric Harris

That was an amazing set of games/announcements.

  • Krisi92

Remember when people said that the 3DS would fail?

    • Prinnydoom

      Not anymore baby ^____^

    • puchinri

If Nintendo does anything anymore, they’ll fail (according to others). Just makes moments/days like these that much sweeter. x’D

To me it was too much mario… Mario Party, Mario Golf, Mario Party, Mario & Luigi, Mario Mini o.o Five mario games at once? Wth. Also another Zelda? To me feels like Nintendo is just flooding both Zelda and Mario waay to much.

You don’t see no new stuff coming from them. Also, I don’t get it why their Virtual Console games aren’t unified for 3DS/WiiU ? What I can play Zelda OoS on 3DS but no on Wii U? Makes no sense.

    • puchinri

I kind of see your point, but at the same time, Mario’s name doesn’t imply just Mario in a few of those cases. (Mario Party, Golf and M&L don’t focus on just Mario, and apparently Mini won’t either.)

At the same time, some of these are things we’ve already seen/knew were coming, and we can’t forget that there’s also the Wii U for them to focus efforts of other series/characters on. I suspect that by the middle of this year, they’ll have some ND with titles they’ll hint at or announce that focus on other things.

Also, I think some of those cases make a bit of sense. (OoS being on 3DS makes sense since it’s a handheld game and they’re just keeping it there; not entirely illogical.)

      • isfuturebright

Yeah I hope so. The Wii U is reeeeally slow now but I’m hoping they get more steam running.

About OoS being a handheld game… yeah I don’t know. I mean with the gamepad you kinda get a handeld, and if think like “Oh this person doesn’t have a 3DS, why not let him buy it for his Wii U? “.

I think that the problem is that, right now if you get game from the 3DS eShop, it’s bound to your 3DS account, it’s not unified with the Wii U in any way which is so silly… So I think they are avoiding adding any game on both because people might complain that they would have to buy it again to play it.

        • puchinri

Yeah. I think the sales are good, but they’re not Nintendo sales/numbers – but I think that’s okay. Now, after Pikmin 3 and other, large titles, if it’s still lagging, then I’ll worry.

I think it’s more efficient to have games be on both console’s VC, but I can see why they’re keeping an actual handheld title on their actual handheld.

    Yeah….
    YEAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!!!

Monsieur Broque is back, meaning Broggy might be back!

New Zelda and Yoshi Island? Both looking awesome!

  • i2Chep

New Super Luigi U….are they even trying anymore?

    • Solomon_Kano

It’s a piece of DLC for New Super Mario Bros. U, I don’t see how that indicates any lack of effort.

      • i2Chep

Touche, I thought it was a whole new game.
