Ratchet & Clank is being turned into a movie, Sony have announced. Blockade Entertainment and Rainmaker Entertainment are currently producing the movie with Insomniac, the developers of the Ratchet & Clank games, involved with screenplay, character development and animation consulting. Additionally, Variety reports (via: Eurogamer) that a Heavenly Sword CG movie is in the works at Blockade Entertainment well. Unlike the Ratchet & Clank movie, Heavenly Sword will reportedly only be released direct-to-home video.
The Ratchet & Clank movie is scheduled for release in 2015.
