    • DAT Bird From DAT Cage

If P5 at TGS in Sep – does this mean a release in 2013 in Japan? Since when Atlus reveals its games then it means an imminent release in the next 2-3 months.

  • Steven Heryanto

    Dear Mr Meguro,
Please stop make concert, we need you to arrange persona 5 soundtrack.
    Thank you…

    • Isaac Newton

WOW do you think he didn’t arrange a score for P5 just for the concert?

Meguro: I can’t arrange any song for P5 because I have some concerts to attend to……

“As with past concerts, Yumi Kawamura, Lotus Juice, Shihoko Hirata and Atlus’ Shoji Meguro will be part of the event.”

Does this mean that they’re skipping out on Mayumi Fujita again? :(

“Atlus have announced their next Persona game.”

Now THIS is what I wanted to read! D=

Three months after SMT4 sounds like a good time to announce Persona 5. It would cause a lot of clamor, and be extremely relevant. It could also draw a lot of attention to the concerts. From the speculation of a completely uneducated business perspective it seems like an ideal time/place.

  • amagidyne

Oh man, that’s in the middle of my summer break. Maybe I should plan a trip for Tokyo.

    • PinkKat

You should. Its really enjoyable experience & great culture rush and plenty of free pretty places Plus delicious food…ohgosh the food.

But dont make the mistake of just focusing on tokyo prefectures if you have enough days.

      • amagidyne

Definitely. I haven’t had the time to travel around the country yet, but I’m currently living in Kyushu as an exchange student, near a city that could easily pass for P4′s Yasoinaba (fog and all).

I really have no excuse not to go. Going to be watching that URL like a hawk.

        • PinkKat

Kyushu is such a large area, pop from all of kyu equals that of tokyo alone its insane but from that region…tokyos still feels like culture shock sometimes, even if your in like… fukuoka.

(Generally referring to the tokyo-to prefecture) things normalize the farther you get from there youwould love it I bet

  • RablaAndrews

Eagerly awaiting the DVD/BD release, as always.

Next year, maybe, I’ll actually go.

  • MrTyrant

How many concert and remixes do Persona 3-4 have? Man i love how we forget about other games and all that, it’s like there isn’t anything else outside P3 or P4 realm.

  • PinkKat

Ive always loved Personas music! To anyone with the money, hell… go and spend a week in tokyo for this then hit the beach afterwards and be in bliss.

    • Nee Nee

      Screw beaches.

      • PinkKat

You are either part cat and hate water or dislike scantily clad women? Or a city boy…

  • Neophoton

Shame I won’t be back in Japan until late September! I’d love to go to this.

  • Hughe Vang

Since it doesn’t specifically say only P3/P4 even though they’re the only games shown in the video I’ll be hopeful but foolishly optimistic that some P1/2 songs get arranged. At least in terms of battle themes they’ve done all of them except for Master of Tartarus, Mass Destruction FES Version (would love this arranged) and Darkness (wouldn’t mind this either). Maybe we can get a live version of the P2 boss theme or something…? Or if we’re just staying within the realm of Meguro, A Lone Prayer or Pandora Last Battle? I mean, they’ve done Dream of Butterfly before, so there’s a chance…

…oh well. I wouldn’t mind more P3/P4 arrangement as long as they’re different from before, like 2012′s songs. Man, that Reach out to the Truth with Lotus Juice was awesome :D

  • Jose Deckard Narváez

praying to philemon to get this time a live ver. of Pandora last battle or the op for batsu

Maybe it’s because I go to so many punk shows and my idea of the ideal admission fee is warped but that seems really pricey for a concert ticket

    • new_tradition

I guess there’s probably some costs bundled into the ticket price? The cost to use the venue, possible insurance coverage, paying the singers, lol. 7000 yen is about 72.50 Canadian dollars (as of today anyways, lol). I personally don’t think that’s too unreasonable to have the actual singers and composers perform for a niche-esque event.

I went to a Final Fantasy Distant Worlds concert a few years ago in a venue that holds about 3000 people. I got the cheapest seat all the way in the back, and including buying a meet and greet ticket to see Nobuo after the show was about 95-100 dollars, and according to some online testimonies, it wasn’t even a sold event despite how large of a fanbase the series has.

I think with gaming music, you kind of just take what you can get xD

      • http://www.thejaystack.com/ Jon Stachewicz

That makes sense, thinking about it. I actually went to the Distant Worlds concert in 2011 in my town too, and it was a fair bit cheaper, but I didn’t get anything beyond concert admission itself. I think the only time that I’ve paid over 70 for a concert ticket was Radiohead, haha

  • Ben Sylvia

I wish I was in Japan and wasn’t dirt poor.

  • Covnam

When I saw the 2012 concert I really thought that it would be great if I could go to one of these, and now this news shows up. I’m going to seriously consider this.
