Armored Core: Verdict Day Has A Challenge For Hardcore Fans After You Beat It

By Spencer . June 10, 2013 . 1:44am

Armored Core: Verdict Day has 60 missions in story mode and all of them support two player co-op. After you see the ending and the credits roll, there’s a new challenge for Armored Core fans. Hardcore mode increases the damage your AC takes, ups the price for repairs and ammo, and overall makes the game more challenging. Victory conditions are different in Hardcore mode too.

Why go through Armored Core: Verdict Day twice when you can fight online and battle over territory? For glory and to post a clear ranking for bragging rights.

Story mode has a mysterious AC appear. Is this mecha friend or foe?

Armored Core: Verdict Day is slated for a fall release on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

Sounds great. But I really hope they improve the frame rates for the PS3 version. I didn’t buy any AC games this gen because of the scarily low frame rates the PS3 versions have.

Didn’t AC5 have like 50 single player mission, and almost all where just “go to place you went many time before, kill X enemy”?

    • Altin

It had loads of those Mini Missions. As far as I recall, it had 8 Story Missions which were slightly longer.

  • Unfortunately, I’m more into Super Robots or you know, giant robots who defeat armies with (energy) blades instead of shooting-power.

  • I wonder if they’ll build off the zodiacs, i’m excited at there being so many coop missions hopefully they’re not too short.

“CHALLENGE ACCEPTED!” Is the only logical response to this.
