Deus Ex: Human Revolution Director’s Cut Is Also Coming To PS3, 360, And PC

By Spencer . June 11, 2013 . 11:16pm

imageSquare Enix announced Deus Ex: Human Revolution Director’s Cut will be coming to more console than Wii U. The enhanced version of Deus Ex: Human Revolution is now a PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PC, and Mac title too.

Deus Ex: Human Revolution Director’s Cut will have second screen features on all consoles. On Wii U, players will use the gamepad to see the map and use touchscreen controls to access Adam Jensen’s Neural Hub. PlayStation Vita will act as a second screen for the PlayStation 3 version and SmartGlass along with a compatible tablet works for the Xbox 360 release.

Eidos Montreal revised the boss fights for Deus Ex: Human Revolution Director’s Cut and integrated the Missing Link chapter directly into the story. Tong’s Rescue, improved AI, and over eight hours of developer commentary are other key features in Director’s Cut.

Deus Ex: Human Revolution Director’s Cut is slated for release later this year.

Seems like they can’t catch a break with their console.

    • Frankie

That and Square is screwing over everyone with no exlcusives.

      • Syn

^^^^ This, I tell you, SE will lose out big time on partnerships with this money mongering mentality they have developed, the only platform getting real exclusives from SE is IOS. smh

        • Frankie

They are desperate for money. I hope they bring KH3 to the Wii U. These moves are only going to hurt them in the end.

Uh, I don’t think anyone will buy this…I mean, look above this comment section. DXHR is selling for $6, and still they cite poor sales.

I’m sure quite a few people want better boss battles, including me.

As well as I, I have been getting an itch to play this game but I’ll wait for this to come out. If it comes out at a $60 price point then I am definitely waiting even longer for it to drop, though.

    Deus Ex: Human Revolution
    PS3: Walmart $14.96
    X-Box 360: Best Buy 19.99

Wii U: 59.99 (Because its Directors Cut?)

Ouch, how will these developers be making money, by making an re-released old game as an exclusive to the Wii U, but now on consoles that had the game as a non exclusive August 2011. Were is money being collected?!

It’s the same developer who did the Wii U (full price) port of Mass Effect 3.

      They have no luck.

      • NatT96™

Ridiculously this is also another overpriced port.
These games are also really late ports to the Wii U:
Need for Speed: Most Wanted U: $59.99 October 2012!
Resident Evil: Revilations: $49.99 Febuary 2012!

Some retailers sale these games, cheap on other consoles…Deus Ex is not the first. Seriously, the developers should think price wise.

        Old ports.

The ONLY reason I bought NFSMWU was because I got it for $30 off Origin.

          • NatT96™

All three games listed above need to be $30 at retail.

  • YouGusta

This is GOTY version right? :)

    • artemisthemp

It would be more correct this is the International version. (Star Ocean: Lost Hope know what I talking about)

  • ChiffonCake

Maybe this is their way of trying to fix the mess with The Fall…

Wow, Square is really hurting consoles when it comes to their games here. Here I thought this would be an incentive to get a Wii U, but to find out it’s being released on the PS3 and 360 as well. That stings. Oh well, hopefully their business model works out for them. I’ll still get this for the Wii U when I get one. It needs to be supported too.

SE is losing a lot of money and they fired a ton of people already, the CEO left
they are trying to make as much money as they can now

  • Repede91

If this were $30, I would purchase this upon release to have something new to play on Wii U.
