Etrian Odyssey Untold: Millennium Girl Coming To North America This Summer

By Ishaan . June 11, 2013 . 8:52am

Etrian Odyssey Untold: Millennium Girl is headed to North America, Atlus USA announced this morning.

The game, as previously detailed, will feature two modes—a new story mode that retells the original Etrian Odyssey with new characters, and a Classic Mode that lets you create your own characters like in previous games.

Etrian Odyssey Untold: Millenium Girl will be available this Summer both at retail and on the Nintendo eShop.

*slowly removes Etrian Odyssey IV from Amazon cart*

    • MrSirFeatherFang

Hmm, iirc you didn’t like the demo. I forgot what you didn’t like about the game though.

    • No, get it and EOM.

  • Holylifestar

:O They’re releasing it over here fairly fast. I was expecting a release date of next year.

  • Metalsnakezero

    That was pretty damn fast.

  • OlimacFTW

Atlus! Give me a break, please! Two Etrian games in one year, plus SMT IV. There is no wallet that can resist that.

  • BillyMK

Dammit, my copy of IV just arrived yesterdey.

    • Taedo

I feel yah, I’ve just purchased my copy a few days ago :S I may very well clear the game and turn it in for credit towards new millennium… if I can do that for a decent amount.

  • Literally just wrote this on the Open Thread too, haha :)

I hope us Europeans will at least get a release date a bit quicker than last time, and not just teased with a release date that was clearly not going to happen, and then stay quiet about it for a while even after it was evidently not Spring anymore … (They said Spring 2013 for EO4)

In fact, it was so quiet that I didn’t even hear about the new Autumn 2013 release date for EO4…

    • MrSirFeatherFang

You were suppose to get it this summer, right?

      • Oh, right, they changed it again I guess. Just double checked and it now says August and not Fall 2013 :o
Still, rather late in the Summer, but hey. I’m not going to complain about that :p
        Thanks for the correction~

It’s just that, it’d be nice if they don’t bother giving a release date if they’re not going to keep it that’s all, since it’s usually what they do anyway (Dragon’s Crown, for example…)

  • Hoshi星

Atlus seriously on a roll for the 3DS in America. EOIV, Soul Hackers, SMTIV and now EOM. Only missing Devil Survivors 2 that we’ll probably get next year.

Other than that. WOW TOO FAST. I didn’t expect that

    • Nah we’ll get it later this year… actually has it released in Japan yet? If not then yah maybe not until next year, but still so many awesome games.

      • Hoshi星

Yes, DeSu2 is scheduled for Q4 2013 in Japan. While it would be pretty great if Atlus annonce it for this year…I prefer that they keep it for next year. I’m too overwhelmed with games now.

        • Ah Q4 2013 Japan. Then yah there was problems still, and there is like no way it can get here in 2013 early 2014 though yes.

    • DyLaN

DeSu2BR has been delayed to Autumn 2013 last I recall. So most likely we are getting it next uear.

  • AuraGuyChris

    …Wait, what? This Autumn? Already?
    That was insanely quick.

  • SetzerGabbiani

Atlus is knocking it out of the park! However, my bank account needs a damn break! I’m just waiting on more info on SMT x Fire Emblem at this point.

  • MrSirFeatherFang

I’m pretty sure it’s suppose to be Autumn of this year, not Summer.

  • AweOfShe

Good timing. I just finished EO4, and am about to finish Soul Hackers. :P

  • Amine Hsu Nekuchan

Man, I so wish I could feel more excited for this…

  • Blur Will

    DAY 1 !!!!

  • AlphaSixNine

Summer? Atlus Faithful told me Fall. I want Summer though… :3

  • Woot! So excite for this.

  • XypherCode

Lol I haven’t even finished half of IV yet. XD

  • benhofb

Daamn. That was fast. Looks pretty sweet! I might actually pick this up (since it has a story now :P)

    • kool_cid414

      With you on that one.

  • Zeik56

This is almost too soon. I wasn’t even prepared to have to think about buying this game yet, considering everything else on the horizon.

I might have to actually hold off on this one for a bit.

    • Zeik56

      I got downvoted for that? C’mon Internet…

  • Hraesvelgr

    Yesss… my moneyyyyyyy…

Alas, no preorder option available yet!

  • Lazulis

Atlus, stop, too soon! Money…not enough! I already have SMT IV, and Rune Factor 4 and Muramasa and stoooop

  • AkuLord3

    Awesome <3 can't wait

  • TiredOfMyOldUsername

Damn that fast, i hope Atlus will continue to localize fast this way.

First SMTIV is localized quite fast then Dragon Crown and now this

  • Testsubject909

Looks like the need to be a complete multi-system user (minus the Xbox One) has increased more and more.

  • Koulamatata

Was not expecting this in 2013.
Really didn’t think we’d see 2 EO games in one year. Impressive localization speed.

  • Rasputing

So, is it summer or fall? Either way, that’s pretty fast.

  • Sebastian Lothian

I’m not even done with the post game things in Etrian Odyssey 4 and they’re giving me this…

  • Now I’ve got three 3DS games to get this summer… There goes a chunk of my PS4 funds… This, EOIV and SMTIV are at the top of my list for games to get. I’m very, very pleased to see that this is getting such a swift release in North America.
