By Ishaan . June 12, 2013 . 6:30pm

Nintendo haven’t said much about the new Yoshi’s Island game for 3DS since its reveal, but they did release a new trailer for it at E3, and you can watch it below:

As you may notice, the game is now titled Yoshi’s New Island. It will feature worlds using different art styles, such as oil, watercolour and crayon. Nintendo plan to release it sometime in 2014.

Nintendo has taken up one of the Twelve Labors of Hercules.

3DS screenshots are really bad. Both this game and the new Zelda game looked pretty crappy in their reveal screenshots but they both look awesome in motion. Can’t wait to get both of them.

      Maybe they’re camera shy.

      • Obviously the case

Wow, Yoshi’s arse could not have been big enough for that.

Looks fun but uninspired, much like another “New” series I can think of.

Essentially, it looks like… more levels from Yoshi’s Island. But still, that music, gets me excited.

So I hope you can move while you aim your eggs.

Wasn’t that possible in the GBA version of Yoshi’s island?

  • Niermyico

I’m calling it now. Big Egg will be Yoshi’s final smash in the new Smash! lol!

  • Sorta gross but: Yoshi should be the new Mascot for Maternity wards if s/he can pump out eggs that big so easily.

I just knew, Yoshi is able to eat that huge thing. haha. I guess Kirby has a competition now. :D

Ha ha oh my god, Yoshi, that egg… I would not blame him if he had to take a small break from hovering/jumping after laying a behemoth like that. definitely the talking point of the trailer, since most other things in it felt like stuff we’ve seen in the original. Charming, but not much new. Wish they’d have shown us those other artstyle stages, actually.
