Saint Seiya: Brave Soldiers brings characters from the Saint Seiya series together, but this time they’re fighting against each other. Dimps developed this PlayStation 3 fighting game, which is scheduled to come out this fall in Japan, Europe, South America, and Mexico.

Here’s a look at Pegasus Seiya who is playable in Saint Seiya: Brave Soldiers.

    “the this game screams dlc”
so far the graphics looks nice. but I did notice that this game looks oddly like uns3 well the fighting mechanics does specially that dash

    • Aoshi00

There was a lot of DLCs in Sanctuary Battle alrdy, like Jabu, Siegfried, Sorento, Kanon, Radamanthys, etc, from Asgard, Poseiden, & Hades.. they were like 500-600 yen each, so I didn’t buy any (I think there was one time they were on sale for ~300 yen each).. only gotten Dohko for free.. I still want them to do an RPG instead of fighter or Musou… also they look weird wearing New Clothes in Sanctuary..

Dimps? As in creator of Rumble Fish and co creator of Street fighter 4? Didn’t see that comin.

    • Takku

Dimps are the makers of Saint Seiya: Sanctuary Battle too. They reused a lot of animations for this game.

    • MrSirFeatherFang

I remember seeing their name since Digmon Battle Spirits 2! I was not familiar with Rumble Fish so I didn’t know they made that, but I did know they were involved with Street Fighter IV and Sonic Advanced (and some recent Sonic games).
Although you already know this, here’s an interesting interview by 1UP where they interview the creator of Street Fighter (who’s now in DImps):

    • Zarathos No Daimaƍh

Dimps made loads of mediocre to average anime fighting games before and alongside those projects

  • VS mode?

  • Yan Zhao

From the revealed trailler, it looks like its just Sanctuary Battle with just the boss fights without the beat em up portion, done in VS mode only.

I wasnt impressed with the 2 PS2 fighters they made, I really hope this one is good.

    • Crimson_Cloud

I have the two PS2 titles and the last one that came on PS3. I don’t want Sanctuary story anymore, I would rather see something else. When they get to The Lost Canvas series and its epic battles, I’ll gladly buy it.

  • Jesse Torres

This game has the same fighting mechanics as the storm series.

  • Yoshi Haku

was really looking forward for a beat them up like Sancuary Battle.

could be getting it anyway, but after a price drop.
