Metal Max 4: Moonlight Diva Rolls Out A T-Rex Tank And Other Wacky Vehicles

imageOne of the best parts about the Metal Max series is the wild enemies and vehicles the creators come up with. Metal Max 4: Moonlight Diva has a Bio Tank which is a T-rex with treads. The Sports Car has a massive cannon and ATM missiles attached to the back and there’s Sasha, a character that transforms into a motorcycle somehow. Metal Max 4’s lighthearted take on a wasteland world is refreshing.

Kadokawa Games will release Metal Max 4: Moonlight Diva for Nintendo 3DS on November 7 as a 6,980 yen ($70) game. A limited edition with a soundtrack CD, world map on a microfiber cloth, original comic, and a super DLC bundle will cost 9,980 yen ($100). The DLC bundle is said to contain more than 3,000 yen ($30) worth of content including popular Wanted monsters from other games in the series to hunt which drop rare items. The limited edition DLC pack also has costumes for the protagonist, cars, and various party members. Sounds like Metal Max 4 has a lot of downloadable content.

  • Hello, friends. Siliconera is a amazing and great site of informations. I am brazilian and my english is poor… so sorry anything. I wish make a contribuition about this new: This T-Rex Bio Tank is a homage to character DINO-TANK, a Kaijuu (”giant misterious beast” in Japan) in Ultramen’s franchise: Dino-tank is too calling ”Tankassaurus” or ”Dinossaur tank” in anothers countries … game version: this game is ”Taiketsu! Ultra Hero” to Gameboy advance.

Just another reason to watch Ultraseven. Also, for a self-proclaimed bad English speaker, your vocabulary is great. There’s many native English speakers who don’t know what an homage is.

    • Just Tim

Thank you for also introducing me to Ultraseven.

      • Tokusatsus forever, my friend!!!

I make some post about another japanese super hero tokusatsu franchise: the Toei’s Metal Heroes, to brazilian site Aperta Start. Is portuguese language, but, if you feel interesting, please visit us:
Aperta Start is a site about pop culture too (tokusatsus; comics; manga; anime; cartoon; games; books; comedy; movies; transmedia; etc…). I am concept/characters creation professor in Brazil and try make projects about animations; comics/manga and games with students. I work and search with all world pop culture. Is very funny.
