Sengoku Basara 2, Heavenly Guardian, And Bonanza Bros. Hop On To PS3

By Spencer . July 17, 2013 . 2:06am

bonz The PlayStation Store was just updated in Japan with more PS2 Classics. You can get Sengoku Basara 2 for 1,200 yen ($12) and Sengoku Basara 2 Heroes for 1,200 yen ($12) as well. Heavenly Guardian, a spiritual successor to Pocky & Rocky, is 900 yen ($9) and the Sega Ages 2500 title Puzzle & Action: Ichidant-R & Bonanza Bros. is 800 yen ($8).

Puzzle & Action: Ichidant-R & Bonanza Bros. is the cheapest and probably the rarest game on the list. Sega Ages titles are hard to come by and this collection includes the shooter/platformer Bonanza Bros. plus spinoff games.

Aww man… Time to go find out if Japanese PS2 Classics work on NA PS3s.

    • If your getting it from the jap psn store, then yes it should.

  • Jah-keem York

Sengoku Basara 2?..That’s weird… that’d be like releasing Devil May Cry 3 as a PS2 classic. Japan already has Sengoku Basara HD Collection why would they want to buy this version? Outside of a little costier, better frame rate, smoother look. Still able to message friends, trophies ect ect the only edge it has is being a little cheaper.

Yeah. They shoulda put Berserk PS2 on PS2 classics. Now that woulda been cool.

Oh my god Boanza Bros when i was young me and my friend used to play that game SO much.
Its the perfect example of the types of games you just HAD to go over to a friends and play back in the day before online

I need Prince of Tennis Smash Hit series! Never had chance playing 4 player mode with my friends :(

    • KnifeAndFork

that would be nice but it would be cooler to make a PSN remake with online..
