when will we get it? :(

    • Namuro

I know it’ll be MUCH better to be able to play in English and fully understand everything, but who knows “when” or “if” the game will even be localized. I, for one, cannot wait and will be joining the hunt straight away!

If you’re willing to spend a bit for the love of MonHun, you can always get a Japanese 3DS for it. I’m pretty sure there’ll be plenty of people putting up translations, guides and such on the net in no time. So you don’t have to worry too much about not being able to read Japanese.

Get the Japanese one, join us all in epic battles, and be a happy gamer! :)

I’d agree if you hadn’t already gotten a J3DS, just to take the opportunity and buy one of the great limited editions we surely aren’t going to see either way.

But apart from that, I would, and would suggest, to instead support the localizations so that they will continue. Promptly, preferably.

      • XypherCode

The problem is that not everyone has extra cash in their wallets to import a JP 3DS.

        • Namuro

I understand that. Hence, “If you’re willing to spend…”

To me, Monster Hunter is worth paying extra for. I missed out quite a few games like Animal Crossing and Mario & Luigi (I’ll get them, eventually) to save up for the Monster Hunter 4 bundle.

I guess it’s all down to priority, and mine lies with Monster Hunter 4.

I bought a used 3ds ll when I was in japan recently :) Not regretting it at all even though I can’t read kanji! :D Definitly buying MH4 from the e-Shop when it’s released :)

          • Namuro

I’ll see you soon then, fellow hunter!

      • Happy Gamer

that was an epic reply @ be a happy gamer lol.
I cannot afford a new 3ds at the moment but I would really not mind doing so :)

      • Haseyo

I’m going to be depending on guides too. I cannot wait. Tempted to just get it from the eShop but this is something I really want a physical copy of.

  • Ferofax

Why is the main thumbnail Black Rathian?

    • J_Joestar

would be awesome if the Wyvern Virus could occasionally transform it into UNKNOWN rathian when reviving it.

    • Ruins72

It’s not, it’s normal Rathian infected with feral wyvern virus. All the monsters get darker and their eyes glow. Some weird sh*t right? I CAN’T WAIT!

  • Pockystix

Still hoping for a western release announcement soon

The 3DS is on fire with RPGs so far~

  • Gideon de Groodt

I saw the Ancient Rathian when I got here..

What’s going on, Capcom? We get a monster straight outta MHO?

    • http://oneweakness.com/ PRIZZA

      I think it’s a feral wyvern Rathian.

      • Gideon de Groodt

Yeah, I actually just realized that when I saw it again. :’)

        • Ferofax

I made the same mistake… but who knows? Maybe they’ll give it the Black Rathian’s MHO moveset while in zombie virus mode. :)

  • konsama

Want this game so bad, and if that black 3DS came here, i would buy the hell of it even if i already got an XL. >_>

  • Takuya

when i saw simultaneous release i quickly though it was both US and Japan but the truth hurts

    • J_Joestar

      same here…

      “Simultaneous” O_O OMG OMG OMG

“in stores and online” -_- ehhhhhh

although i guess it should be expected since 3U is still fairly recent
