    I’ll admit, this is very tempting, but I already put down the $85 for the Disgaea D2 limited edition, and this coming out a month apart from that… doesn’t help. ;;

  • Andrew Arndt

this le dost not make me want to spend money on it so i stick wit my normale Eu verison jp verison thank you very much

  • Randgriz

Finally a release date! This is my most anticipated game this year

  • DesmaX

NISA always do an amazing job with their Boxarts, btw.

My most anticipated game for this year, day 1 with no regrets. ZHP is my favorite PSP game

    • Brion Valkerion

      Same here, cant wait!

ZHP was on a whim for me since I love the Disgaea world, but man I LOVED IT. Wish they would continue on with that series or at least revisit those characters some time in the future though. Really showed how amazing their scripts and translations are again and again in ZHP.

  • Muffum

An honest-to-God jewel case for a video game’s limited edition OST? In this day and age?

I was planning on getting this game anyway, but now I’m morally obligated to get the limited edition.

    • Pyrotek85

I’m kinda torn on jewel cases personally. I think they look and display better, but more care needs to be taken since they can crack.

      • Zero_Destiny

Well careful care should always be on your mind with your collections, but if worse does come to worse the nice thing with jewel cases is you can swap them out. I used to do it all the time with my PSOne games, especially used games I got with cracked cases.

It’s simple enough to gut the inside of the case and take out the contents then transfer it over to another jewel case. Of course all of this depends on you willing to sacrifice a jewel case. As a kid I took my brother’s and parent’s CD cases and swapped them out with my cracked PSOne cases. lol

        • Pyrotek85

Yeah I’ve had to do that before. I rarely have accidents, more often I’ve gotten them cracked during shipment. All it takes is for the delivery guy to kick it to shatter them lol.

          • Zero_Destiny

Gah, that really is the worse. I’ve had plenty of shipping nightmares myself. It’s why I still prefer the old fashion way of driving to the store and getting it myself. Though for the times you can’t, you just gotta hope the shipping will be smooth sailing. ^^; That or get on the line with some customer service but really nobody wants to do that.

  • ninjabart122

That release date was farther down than what I anticipated.

At least it seems set in stone.

  • Jungo

    Birthday present for me!

  • Zero_Destiny

My interest in NISA’s releases have been waning over the past year or so, but this game actually has caught my eye, so I’m glad to see it get such a nice set. I may have to go all out and pre-order this instead of picking the game up down the line later.

    • DesmaX

Well, NIS finally started to make new games again, so it’s no wonder

      • Zero_Destiny

Probably doesn’t help that Disgaea hasn’t been all that interesting to me personally and I skipped 3 and 4, and am not really looking to get into D2 ether. lol

Phantom Brave has still been my favorite release of theirs.

        • DesmaX

Well, to be fair, D4 was the best one anyway, haha. I would recommend it to you, if you can find it cheap.

While I’m hyped for DD2, NIS “Non-Disgaea” games are the best ones for me (ZHP is my favorite from them). I don’t even know how they make those games play as well as they do, since they always put innovative stuff in there

          • chibidw

ZHP was a big turn off for me after I finished the story mode, due to the whole “brutalizes you for suspending in dungeons” thing.

Now that I have a Vita however, and ZHP can’t detect the Vita’s sleep mode, I find myself liking the game a whole lot more.

          • DesmaX

Well, to be fair, that’s one of the reasons I’m hyped for this game. ZHP just immersed me, and I don’t really like playing these long games on the PSP. When I’m on the bus, or waiting in a queue; I keep getting my conscient off the game to check if I didn’t miss my chance. And, even if I’m at home, I’d much rather play on my PS3 anyway.

It kinda hurted my experience. But, hey, having something like this on the PS3 makes it way better for me

          • http://www.youtube.com/user/xxHiryuuxx Tohsaka

Honestly, I wasn’t a fan of the way the game punished you if you lost. The save BS and the sleep BS easily turned me off to the game, and it’s the only NIS game in the Disgaeaverse that I haven’t finished due to that. And I tried again recently for the third time to do just that.

It’s otherwise a great concept but it’s what’s turning me off to even considering this. If they’ve changed some of those inkling concerns with TGFP then I may consider it.

          • Zero_Destiny

I’ve heard good things about the game, the sprites looked great too!

You know, it was never intentional I ended up putting D3 and even 4 aside and saying I’d get them later but well now years have passed and I still haven’t gotten them. Oopps Though honestly, I haven’t felt like going back ether so I may just pass them all up.

          • DesmaX

Oh, that’s cool. That happens with lots of games in my list (*cof cof* Deadly Premonition).

Oh well, by now it’s way better to just wait for DD2, that game has vastly improved mechanics, from what I’ve seen (Especially for people who doesn’t have that much time to dedicate for it)

          • brian

Well at least now D3 has an enhanced port and D4 will have one.

        • Magnumsally

          SRPGS are not for everyone

      • artemisthemp

Guess you miss Special Report Division for Vita :)
Then again was only release in JP.

  • kroufonz

    NICE desu ne!

preordering this ASAP, really hyped for this.

  • EtherealEarth

Is this limited set unique to NISA, or it’s available in Japanese version as well?

    • DesmaX

      Exclusive to NISA

  • fireemblembeast

I’m not going to get the LE, but I think I might pick this up once I check it out a bit more ^_^

  • http://strictlyapathy.comoj.com/ SoulArbiter

I will definitely buy this fabulous game!

  • Juan Andrés Valencia

That’s a lot of goodies and it makes you wonder why they didn’t add a poster, a keychain, a making-of Blu-Ray, three handkerchiefs, a watch and coins to make it the most overkill limited edition ever.

    • M’iau M’iaut

Cuz thats teh kind of swag that put Working Designs out of business.

  • WyattEpp

    BRB, getting totally hype.

  • Wondering_Zero

Wow, I preordered the LE at Anime Expo this past July and I think they added some stuff to it. Most notably the art print, but I think the jewel case for the OST is also new.

I ended up buying it at the expo mostly to get an autograph from Noizi Ito, but I was interested in this game since it was first shown, so it’s a win-win in my book. Can’t wait for it.

  • Saintdante

NISA have mercy! I’m running out of money here!

    • FetusZero

      They’ve been pretty active this year.. it hurts y wallet D;

    • Guest

HELP iam drowning here in the sea of my not opened(played) yet games i cant keep up !!

  • Presea

I really can’t wait for this one, it looks really good. <3 I pre-ordered it at AX13, now to wait until November 5… that feels so far. ;w; I really like the framed art too.

  • Lord Búho

Roguelike dungeon crawler? you got my attention.

    • Ereek

Did you try ZHP? That game is this one’s spiritual predecessor.

      • Lord Búho

I actually have no idea of what ZHP is, care to enlighten me? I’m interested.

        • Zero_Destiny

Zettai Hero Project. It’s a sort of Rouge-like game for the PSP, and is centered around a Tokusatsu/Power Rangers kind of parody story.

Here’s NISA’s site if you wanna see more: http://nisamerica.com/games/zhp/

          • Lord Búho

Oh wow, the game looks amazing, straight to my wishlist it goes. Thanks for the info!

  • $61526767

Gonna skip the limited edition and buy it standard. Would love to pay and own all those goodies for 74$. But rather skip on this one.. really sucks! D:

  • Curan_Altea

Oh…. Goodbye money that was going to be spent on next gen games.
I can’t resist all of those art goods.
    And a 2 disc soundtrack?
    Yesssssssssssssssssssss

  • http://epiclyamazing.wordpress.com/ AzureNova

Damn. It’s not like I wasn’t going to, but now I HAVE to pre-order this lol =)

  • Magnumsally

i knew the date but its good the public does too

  • Göran Isacson

Interesting, wonder if my Disgaea-fanatic friend will be interested in this… also I wonder if this will have much of a chance if it is released in D2′s shadow.

  • artemisthemp

I pre order my Limited Edition ASAP since, I know how fast a NISA Limited Edition can sell out.

  • supervamp

ugh they could at least update the site with info

    • artemisthemp

Newsletter section in left side of NISA website :P

      • supervamp

I mean the actual game website

  • Demeanor

My wallet hates me now, but preordered, OF COURSE! Still, ouch, those shipping costs when you live in EU >_>
Now, where’s that Eska and Logi or whatever their names are… ^ ^

  • vileBrenman

I absolutely loved zhp! I’m totally excited for this Game. Kinda iffy on getting for ps3 because of nis putting so many games on vita lately. Ex: Disgea 4 and 3

  • GriffithOfTheHawk

Wait for the reviews and take the risk that the collector become sold out or preorder now full of trust in NIS for the game quality ? That’s a dilemma

    • M’iau M’iaut

Check out reviews and playtests of ZHP. This is basically ZHP 2, only with Ito responsible for the characters.

  • SprintsMcGee

Looks like I’m not getting a PS4 anytime soon. This and Disgaea D2 (along with some other games) will drain my wallet for those months.

  • Keko

I was pretty hyped for this. I was ready to throw my money at NISA because of dem LEs…

…but seriously, no way I’m paying $22 in shipping. There goes another NISA game I buy without big boxes (I did pay $25 for Neptunia, though).

    • Kamakuma

      Shipping isn’t free? 0…0

      • Zero_Destiny

Now-of-days it should be for packages $19.99 and over in the United States. But that’s the thing only for the US, sadly for those not in the US, they’ll have to pay, and if it’s anything like what I used to pay before NISA had free shipping I imagine it’ll hurt.

        • Kamakuma

Geez that stinks. : I never orderedfrom their store so never knew really. I waa going to though for some games but that’s an eye opener… v.v

  • Duo Maxwell

I’m liking the trend of hard cover art book recently.

  • SlickRoach

Damn it, you had me at NISA, so I have to get the limited edition like I did with D4. Been a huge fan of Z.H.P. and been eyeing this game like a hawk for quite some time now.

  • KingGunblader

I want this, but I’ve bought so many LEs/CEs this year that I’ll have to skip this one. I’m not typically a NIS fan but this looks like a really fun dungeon crawler.

I almost wish it was called The God and Fate Revolution Paradox here, just to see the bewildered faces of the general consumer populace. :P

  • Milla

Its a great game, had fun playing the JP ver.

Protip; once you have good gear save b4 heading out into a dungeon, if you die or make mistake you lose your gear if you don’t like that just reload. :)

    • Testsubject909

So basically “if you played ZHP, you’ll be fine”

  • Follower_of_Pram

Two Disc OST!? *salivates in the way Mao of D3 would do for an experiment*

    • Shizumasa

Would be the full OST. Two Disc, 30 tracks.

  • Testsubject909

Well. I already stated I don’t expect to save up any money until October comes rolling in. Guess my statement’ll be true. Yes, game comes out on November, but I’m just planning in advance exactly how much of my money I’m getting right now is going to be going straight out for stuff.

  • Firekitty

    …Okay, I’ll bite.

I passed up the LE of Soul Nomad and have always been sorry, since it turned out to be one of my favorite games ever.

  • Asrialys

lol The only reason I’m getting the LE for this was to have Noizi Ito autograph a Haruhi Suzumiya artbook at NISA’s booth at Anime Expo 2013…

  • Shizumasa

    I’m so getting this.

  • artemisthemp

NISA Store is shipping to EU.

I only own 4 EU NISA games (Last Rebellion, Ar Tonelico Quga Knell of Ar Ciel, Cross Edge and Trinity Universe).
