not much of a sale if physical new and used is cheaper/same price

  • James Williams

    Taste my UK tears.

  • FX102A

Still waiting for Code of Princess to go on sale in Europe.

  • TheExile285

Damn, I thought CoP was on sale at $30 lol.

    Too bad I’m broke :/

Kinda interested in Soul Hackers, but if it’s not as streamlined as 4, I might not enjoy it as much.

    • Ethan_Twain

It’s not. Not by a long shot.

    • 하세요

I’ve heard nice things about it, but unless you have the cash to get both, I’d go with SMT IV.

      • http://wiredjungle.wordpress.com/ DrakosAmatras

I already have IV. Clocking in at over 80 hours and counting, and I haven’t even finished my first run yet.

      Just buy it -_-

Soul Hackers is nothing like IV. I wouldn’t advise getting it.

    • SetzerGabbiani

Not even close to streamlined. There are also massive text errors in the game. I enjoyed it personally as a MegaTen fanatic, but it’s not addictive like SMT IV where I can’t put down the game.

    • Hinataharem

I really liked Soul Hackers, but it is really dated. If you got spoiled by SMT4, then SH will be hard to stomach.

  • Zero_Destiny

Nice, Atlus has had some really great PSN sales in the past where I got a lot of good deals, some games even being less then $10. So it’s good to see them giving some eShop sales. Hopefully the trend will continue.

I’d say if you’re on the fence even the slightest bit on EO4, consider going for it. It does not disappoint. At least get the demo and decide for yourself.

    • Suicunesol

Yeah I’d have jumped on this if I hadn’t already spent my free $30 on CoP.

I was wondering if I should buy it for my EU 3DS but since it’s £11 cheaper, I may as well buy it for my US 3DS.

I have never been interested in the EO series before. I gave the first one a quick go, and quit because I didn’t like the retro Dragon Quest style battle, where you can’t see your party. Not to mention, the game started out pretty hard, which kinda put me off. However, seeing how the series managed to stay strong, with dedicated fans all these years, I decided to try out the demo for EO4… and I fell in love with the game! I can’t get enough of it now, the combat, the exploration, the difficulty, the music, etc. It’s truly a masterpiece.

It’s really one of those games that you have to try it out for yourself to see what the big deal is. I regret it now, that I didn’t invest enough time into the first one, and see the game for what it really is. Anyway, I’m getting EO4 for sure!

Arrrgh… I really want to get Soul Hackers at some point, but I don’t think I’m even halfway finished with SMT IV. Maybe by the time I’m finished it’ll get a permanent price drop.

  • Raltrios

Soul Hackers is tempting with my $30 free credit, but I haven’t even started DS: Overclocked or SMT4.

    • 하세요

It may be tough going back to the other two after SMT IV. The amount of options and demons in this game make all others feel so…limited. I recommend going through any other SMT you want to play before IV.

      • InfectedAI

Maybe hard going back to Soul Hackers since it’s similar but 16 years old, however DS:O is significantly different. Not really a fair comparison.

        • 하세요

It’s all personal preference. I cannot stand seeing the same like 70 demons over and over in DS:O. Bored me very fast.

  • Abysswalker90

    Meanwhile, in Europe…..

  • Kalis Konig

Code of Princess is on sell every month. Wish they would just mark down the price for good. it really was not a good game imo. I understand why a lot of people loved it though I guess.

  • Seta Soujiro

anyone knows what are the conditions for using the extra $30 you get for fe:a and megantenIV?? thing is, i live in latin america and in order to buy stuff from the eshop i had to pretend that i am from brazil (only way the system would accept my credit card). already have fe:a and megatenIV is on its way.

    • InfectedAI

I thought the 30 dollar credit deal was only for the US?

  • Mrgrgr and Unacceptable World

Atlus is doing everything they can to make us spend all that 30 bucks before Nintendo can make their moves lol.^_^(Well, Nintendo does had that Mii Plaza game for 15 bucks.^_^)
