Can’t wait for the Devil Survivor 2 version so that they can explain Nitta Io’s gravity-defying tits.

        • Leonardo Duarte

          She’s… Boobester

        • Shady Shariest

“This isn’t even my final form!”
          *Fanbase explodes*

    • supervamp

They aren’t even the biggest I’ve heard people complain about

      • Fumi’s actually said to be the biggest. You know it’s bad when Airi also has an immodest size for real-life standards. I still wonder how Hinako keeps her vest-thingy on.

        • supervamp

By wearing a size that actually fits?

    • She’s an angel =P

      • natchu96

But this is SMT. That’s arguably bad. At least some demons going around have redeeming qualities, the Angels just want us brainwashed half the time :/

        • Part of SMT Logic 101 – All boobs MUST defy gravity lol

          – Yasuda (Artist who designed the characters)

          • natchu96

We can keep the boobs, the angels must go.

      • DarthSithZero

So funny that your avatar matches your comment

    • Sergio Briceño

Maybe she is just using a pushup bra like all the other highschool girls do. Fooled me in the past, still a good indication of how they could look 5-8 years later.

    • Still, nothing compares to this:

      • Notquitesure?

That sword is extremely impractical, imagine how often she pokes herself with those moon thingies.

        • Duo Maxwell

          Magic. Didn’t you know?

    • Sardorim

I wish to apply any research data you obtain to trying to understand Io to my research on Yuzu so that I may compare her to Haru which should somehow land me at Amane if my calculations, in theory, are correct.

Wish me luck as the odds of my failure are quite a large distraction for… Numerous reasons.

      • Bigabu Beaze

I don’t understand what the hell your trying to say.

        • Trevor Nicolaysen

I get how you feel. It’s beautiful isn’t it?

          • Bigabu Beaze

Pure confusion? Yeah it feels good.

        • Sardorim

          Elementary, my dear Watson!

          • Bigabu Beaze

            your fear?

  • Guest

Please, Devil Survivor 3DS soon! :D

    • Sardorim

I would love a new entry to the series that isn’t a remake. I mean yeah, I loved Overclocked but I’m passing on Break Record as DeSu2 was way too light hearted compared to DeSu1 and made me feel like I was playing Persona-lite.

      • DyLaN

Light-hearted? DeSu 2 have way MORE on screen death than the 1st game and the whole word being deleted off existence. Not exactly light hearted. Even P3 have its moments.

        • RisukuAozora

I can’t deny that its considerably more light-hearted in some ways despite having more on-screen deaths. There are a lot more gag scenes. There is less morality questions, and the undeniable fact that Gods/Demons aren’t exactly dicking you around.

        • Sardorim

The game still carried itself as light hearted. People die and can die in Persona 4 but it’s still a far more light hearted game than Persona 3 or Shin Megami Tensei for example.

  • AuraGuyChris

I thought Amane was shorter than that…

    • Abysswalker90

      There’s no mention of Amane…What??

      • DyLaN

I think s/he refers to the height of Amane.

  • Ladius

I’m a big fan of Yoh Haduki, if only Career Soft had another chance to show its prowess :(

    • Oscar Alberto Abrego Suarez

Yeah i mean im a huge GL fan (Just getting into Langrisser with LG 4) but i would like them to do a new IP, an spiritual successor to GL.

  • DyLaN

…….I thought S in the SRPG is Strategy instead of Simulation.

Lawl, even Yasuda thinks Yoohoo yoohoos is a bit too much. (Still Ok compare to Io me thinks) And I just noticed Yuzu special art has light floating around her yoohoos.

    Do want the artbook!

    • Tom_Phoenix

Yeah, it’s Simulation. Not that either name is really all that accurate, since the games don’t take place on a strategic level and you usually don’t actually play a role. Personally, I use the term Turn-Based Tactics (since they are turn-based and take place on a tactical level).

To be honest, I’ve always suspected that “SRPG” was more of a marketing term, trying to appeal to the love the Japanese have (or at least had) for RPGs.

      • Oscar Alberto Abrego Suarez

You play a role, The Growlanser series, Devil Survivor, Langrisser series, Ogre tactics allos you to name your MC and most of them harbor choices for you to make.

Games like Tales are not ROLE playing games.

        • 하세요

How is Tales not an RPG? Just because you can’t name the main characters doesn’t mean you aren’t assuming any roles.

          • Oscar Alberto Abrego Suarez

There is a difference between assuming a role and controlling a character, its supposed that you the player play a role in the in-game world, like an student, a worker, a hero and so on.

Having a name and defined personality destroys that because YOU are not being part of the game world.

Just think of ToX 2, even Baba acknowledge that issue in wich you are nothing more than an spectator in current Tales games and thus he made Ludger in wich us players fill a role (In this case because we are the ones taking the desitions not the character).

          • M’iau M’iaut

Not the place for a discussion on what makes an RPG folks — keep things on topic.

  • Anybody bothered by one of the scans showing the final boss?

    • KuroNathan

The tower? not really a secret, hell they mention it within the first quarter of the game

  • mockturtle

I love this game so much, now that I know it’s actually out (the wait for the Bayonetta art book turned me off preorders), I’ve got to go buy it.

And I really hope there’s a high resolution scan of Haru’s tattoo… I want to get it so bad.

  • ShadowDivz

I didn’t play the game but i am tempted to get the artbook. I love when they actually contain sketches and stuff, instead of alot of nice pictures.

It’s nice to see an artists steps, and what could have been.

  • Detrimont

it’s not a sneak peek if it’s already out(i got mine last week)
(and tommorow i get the suzuhito yasuda artbooks from japan)

  • Isaac Newton

I came here for the boobs XD
Anyways that is just one juicy collection.

  • CamulaHikari

I picked this up myself a little while back and I just love it <3
The interview was a nice read.
