Customize Your Weapons In Gaist Crusher With “Souls”

By Eugene . September 16, 2013 . 3:35pm

Capcom are rolling out the details on their new IP, Gaist Crusher, with new details on Souls, a form of weapon boosting.

Souls (the red floating gem in the above picture) are various options that will hover behind players and affect weapons differently, ranging from auto-blocking (below left) to attack boosts (below, right). These will help to offset the problems of utilizing weapons with low defensive capabilities or just help smash mobs into the ground faster.

Those toys we mentioned earlier will transform into more powerful variants of Souls called Soul Gaists (below)—an impetus to pick up the toy range for serious players.

Gaist Crusher will be out for the Nintendo 3DS in Japan December 5.
