Although Pokémon X and Pokémon Y are set to release in less than a month, The Pokémon Company is still supporting the previous set of games with Pokémon distributions. The most recent distribution in Japan is a special Sableye.
Sableye is a male Dark, Ghost type Pokemon and comes with Trick, Tickle, Foul Play and Octazooka already learned and at level 50. That makes it a primarily debuffing Pokemon that’s able to pull some stunts off by stealing enemy items for use or bashing bigger bullies down with Foul Play.
Owners of Japanese versions of Pokemon Black, White, Black 2 and White 2 can download Sableye from Japanese Pokemon Centres now until September 28th.
The interesting thing is that now, with the advent of the upcoming Pokémon Bank cloud service, you’ll be able to transfer the Pokémon you’ve collected in the Black/White games over to Pokémon X and Pokémon Y. For this reason, it makes sense for Pokémon Co. to keep supporting the previous lot of games, even this close to the launch of the new generation.
