In Europe, Nintendo and Square Enix will be releasing a collector’s edition of Bravely Default. This will be available on December 6th and will include the game, Agnés figurine, an artbook, a set of 34 AR cards and an original soundtrack CD. In the UK, the collector’s edition will be available via ShopTo.net.
Update: Nintendo of Europe have confirmed to Siliconera that the collector’s edition is exclusive to ShopTo.net. GAME stores will only stock the regular edition of the game, and pre-ordering this will allow you to avail the smaller artbook.
As previously reported, this is the updated version of Bravely Default, which is titled Bravely Default: For the Sequel in Japan. It comes with a number of improvements and tweaks, such as more character animation during conversation, an increased number of story events and the ability to adjust the game’s random encounter rate to your liking.
In addition to the items above, as a special pre-order bonus, you’ll also be able to avail a smaller artbook if you pre-order the regular edition of Bravely Default from GAME stores in the UK before its December 6th launch. Nintendo also mention that the game will also be available from the Nintendo eShop for download.
