Sony have shared a new trailer for Tearaway, the upcoming PlayStation Vita platformer by Media molecule that takes place in a paper-like world.

Slated for release on November 22nd, Tearaway has you controlling a messenger named Iota, who’s on a mission to deliver a message to you, the player. The game makes use of a number of the Vita’s hardware features, including the touch screen as well as the rear touch pad in order to allow the player to interact with its world.

Looks cool. It could be a very expensive day if this game turns out as good as it has looked in previews (LoZ:ALBW & SM3DW release the same day). I don’t like doing this, but I’m waiting for some reviews on this game before tearing into it. I just can’t get a good feel from what I’ve seen as far as gameplay is concerned.

      I said this on TinyCartridge:
On the 22nd I am buying an Xbone, Forza, Battlefield, Mario, Zelda, AND Tearaway.

Since the Vita and Wii U are two systems that I really like I want to support them. Both Tearaway and Super Mario 3D World looks amazing and I’m gonna go for it and buy them both on release since that’s where it makes most difference for the developers. :)

Let’s hope it gets good reviews so you can jump on the train as well! :D

I’m really hoping it does. There’s not much releasing in December besides South Park: The Stick of Truth and possibly Gran Turismo VI for me, so I wouldn’t mind triple dipping on November 22nd. I might get Mario & Sonic OG in November as well. Don’t laugh. I seem to have fun with those games and they are a nice change of pace for me.

      Haha. “Tearing” into it.

*gets slapped for pointing out the joke*

        Slapped? More like: *high five!

I’m still on the fence about this one, hopefully it turns out good.

Either Ys Celceta and Sorcery Saga will occupy my Vita over the winter.

Man. There is just about nothing in that trailer that isn’t in some way appealing to me. Don’t know if the actual game is fun or not, but I want to test it based on that trailer alone.

Luckily there’s two games to accompany me for the first two weeks of nov. , otherwise it would be a painful wait for me..

I always wanted to like LIttle Big Planet but really didn’t find it engaging. Maybe this one will be different.

Excellent, I don’t think I’ve seen touch controls ever used any better!

    Definitely getting this :)
