Final Fantasy: 4 Heroes of Light Bosses Invade Bravely Default: For the Sequel

Square-Enix is bringing Final Fantasy: The Four Heroes of Light’s bosses over in a crossover to Bravely Default: For the Sequel, the latest issue of Jump reveals.

Players will be able to encounter and fight off both Lucifer and Beelzebub as mega bosses which, fortunately, won’t just spring out a big bad surprise on you. Instead, to fight them you’ll have to actively touch a menacing black dragon icon that will show up on the lower mini-map screen.

Whether they retain their movesets from the Final Fantasy series is unknown.

To get them however, will require a little bit of luck. Other players must pass them to you through WiFi correspondence before the demons will invade your realm. We’re unsure if that also will include StreetPass. But hey, more stuff to kill with mega damage is always welcome good news.

Bravely Default will be available December 6th in Europe and first quarter 2014 in the US.

I liked the design of those bosses. they really look like something from hell. Some were easy to defeat. Other were very tricky.

  • Prinnydoom

Pre-ordered deluxe edition. Not going to disappoint of that i am a 100% sure.

  • TrueDefault

    Well, that’s attractive!

  • GH56734

Makes sense. Bravely Default was originally a sequel to FF: 4 Heroes of Light.

  • I have no emotional attachment to these creatures since I didn’t finish 4HOL but they look nice and more content is always lovely

      Same here.

  • Heisst

Oh man for a second I thought it was the Four Fiends from FF4.

  • SetzerGabbiani

This pretty much confirms what we all knew about the relationship between this and 4 Heroes of Light.

  • Heropon

Beelzebub is hard , Lucifer is easy =))

*checks backlog* Damn, I totally forgot this game. Need to finish it fast.

  • Randy Marsh

Oh man, they better play the Demon King’s Servants for their boss battles in this.

  • Suzaku Kururugi

I guess now they have an excuse for being so difficult, as optional bosses.

    *rolls eyes*

“Other players must pass them to you through WiFi correspondence before the demons will invade your realm.”

So basically I’ll never get to fight them. Damnit.

  • o.O why does EU get it first? that’s interesting~
