Attack On Titan Rises To Retailers With Different Goodies At Each Store

news1617289In Japan, games often get retailer specific bonuses and superfans try to collect all of them. Attack on Titan is one of the bigger Nintendo 3DS releases this holiday season and Spike Chunsoft is using the multi-retailer bonus item marketing strategy.


Animate has a mini Attack on Titan microfiber cloth. HMV has can badges (pins), Imagine has a cloth poster pack, and Sanyodo has a clear folder. Stellaworth has a bromide card, a collectable kind of card that Xseed brought overseas with the Lunar Silver Star Harmony limited edition.


Attack on Titan comes out on December 5 for Nintendo 3DS.

      largely dependent on whether the anime gets over first.

        Its chances are still pretty low, even if the anime were to be licensed and attained reasonable popularity in North America.

          i don’t think so, probably a dub & Tv Broadcast at least, and it still needs to be well received enough after that to warrant the game localization.

      Definitely more likely than most anime games. Attack On Titan is pretty huge, it’s getting on the popularity of stuff such as Naruto Bleach and One Piece. All it needs is a dub and maybe a broadcast on TV. It has a shot.
