Hopefully we get this game too, since we got the the first game.

    • Wait what

Fingers crossed we get the Vita version.

      • TheExile285

We should if people buy the Vita version if the first when released.

Is it just me or does Kaito look like Lucina in Cantarella

  • LM009

really hope there will be more new songs than remakes

  • Father John Brown

they seem to be reusing a lot of songs from extend

  • otakumike

I just wish to share my great bias towards the return of SPiCa!! :D
To be honest, I agree that the returning songs might turn a few heads, but in retrospect, at least they are sticking their guns and picking the songs that fans wanted, instead of what might be the cheapest to add in.

I have every faith in Crypton and SEGA that Project DIVA-F 2nd will have the largest roster of songs to date (or at least comparable to the PSP catalogue). If they stick to the formula of before, I trust that we’ll have more than enough songs to keep us entertained for a long time.

Also keep in mind, compared to a few years ago Vocaloid wasn’t nearly as popular as it is today, so people might have missed out on many songs when they were in their prime, from that perspective, I think it’s a great idea to include all of these returning songs.

    • FetusZero

      Still no Sweet*Drops though ;’(

    • Ryo-kun

Sorry to say but there will be only 40 songs – less than project diva 2nd.

  • Sentsuizan_93

*looks at SEGA pleadingly to localize*

    • http://greatscott84.tumblr.com/ GreatScott84

I think they will localize seeing how well the last game did in the West. Me though? I’m importing on day 1…figuring out the menus isn’t too difficult and the music will still be in Japanese regardless of localization. :)

      • Arrngrim

Agreed, I’ll wind up with 3 or 4 copies of this game as well!

        • Arrngrim

Play-asia still has the Famitsu DX package available for pre-order! Sugoi! (~.~)/ Preordered at the small cost of my arm and my leg!

  • Arcana Wiz

    Luka! <3
and wonder if this game will be localized too.
    *puppy eyes*
    Sega, pleeeeease.

  • Luis Camargo

I will be buying the Vita Japanese version….

and then again the PS3 US version. I belive Sega will localize this.

But please Sega, localize Project Mirai. 3DS is the only with region lock headache. D=

  • MyBodyIsReady

I’ll buy it if we get the physical Vita version. Other wise I’m just going to buy a Japanese version off of ebay again like I did with the original.

Sick of begging for localizations and actual cartridges these days

    • 324234

Just import it. Waiting 6 or however many months for another DD-only localization isn’t worth it, especially for an import this easy to play.

      • MyBodyIsReady

Yeh exactly that’s what I did before. It was cheaper too

Love the downvotes, hurray for digital download only on a system with overpriced memory cards, right guys?

        • http://greatscott84.tumblr.com/ GreatScott84

Yeah, save on money memory cards and just import it. I only pick up DD if the game is on sale and cheaper than if I would import it physically.

        • Arrngrim

I kinda wondered about your downvotes as well there… I like digital download for some things, but physical copies still trump DD any day. ;)

  • JMaster3000

    Here’s a difference btw Extend and F2nd

    http://puu.sh/6c5Pe/bb3aad69af.png

Note that i upscaled the PSP version and tweaked it with FXAA.

    • otakumike

Is it just me or did Luka’s boobs get a little bigger? O.O
Our girl is growing up before our eyes. T^T

      • JMaster3000

        Sega magic lol

      • TrueDefault

Now, that’s what I call an “expansion”

    • Alter

its clear that F2nd more superior than Extend (period)

    • tubers

      Interesting comparison.

It would have been better to have also used the PSP’s native res and show of hands/fingers/digits for a bit more comprehensive comparison.

Then again, the Luka on the left isn’t likely to be the VITA’s version (there’s very high AA on that shot).

      Thanks for the show tho.

  • Raze

    Wow Cantarella…

    Can’t wait for this…

    • Demeanor

It’s not just Cantarella, it’s an awesome remake with Kaito V3, did you know? Here, friend: YT video = Hmm7mbTRr-k
      Isn’t it beautiful? :D

  • Luigi87

Got my Vita import copy pre-ordered, and I finally Platinum’d the first game on Vita earlier today (doubtful I’ll bother to Plat the NA PS3 ver…)

  • Cerzel

I’m really disappointed that the returning songs are just getting facelifts and not proper videos like we had for F.

    • Ryo-kun

      THIS

  • Epitome

The 4th row of screenshots for the World is Mine looks like the same picture as the one next to it.

  • Romancer Ecclesia

I can honestly declare that this is one of the games where you can import, not understand the language and still have shitloads of fun.

    • Arrngrim

Indeed! When Project Diva f hit on PS Vita, got it and played it a bit. Then when it hit PS3 in JP, got it and played the heck out of it! Had a foreign exchange student (Jp) living with a friend come visit and let him play it, he had a blast. :) Vocaloid4Life!

  • Demeanor

I think you guys can guess the reason I bought a 3D HDTV a few years ago.
    XD cannnnottttt waitttttt
And how long until a righteous PS4 announcement? ^ ^

  • Victor Wesker

Personally i would buy PS3 version, because i want see Miku on my big HDTV.

    • Arrngrim

Yup, but when we get the NA release, I’ll buy a copy of both! Cross-play, um, maybe? :3

  • 60hz

    de-gorgeous!

  • tubers

I’m guessing that another good reason for the the “Remakes” is for Western localization. It’s going to be for those that missed the earlier songs PJD game tracks.

I doubt F and f are the last Project Diva localizations.

  • Trinity

FYI, they did announce a localization of the first Project Diva f game for the Vita back in…November, I think. Yes, it’s still DD only, but I couldn’t really enjoy the first game because I like knowing everything I’m doing and it was hard without english translations.

    But that’s me.

    • http://so-very.me/ Jenny

Yea and still no info to date about when it’s coming out or if there will be DLC or not…

  • Kai2591

dat supreme world is mine outfit is killer.

  • Arrngrim

Oh…my…gawd….Luka Luka Night Fever! Luka, daisukeyooooooo!

  • http://www.gamefaqs.com/features/recognition/21421.html?type=4 Kashell

Looking good! Love me some Luka.

    • Arrngrim

      Great minds think alike!

  • Rolling Guy

I was fan boying when I saw World is Mine and Luka Luka Night Fever. FINALLY SOME CLASSICS! (I haven’t played the first. I just got my Vita pardon me.)

  • Neppygear

    Lu-ka Lu-ka Naito Feevaaa
